've used PetPlanet on a number of occasions, have spent hundreds of pounds on the site for stuff for my dog, and have only had 1 delivery problem which they sorted out without a fuss.

They're cheaper than all the other online companies, they have a better selection and they're just plain easy to deal with. What more can you ask for?

They have a loads of choices for cats, the prices are OK. But... I paid for next day delivery, and I got my order after 2 working days. Parcel was not securely wrapped. In fact I've received open box.

I received damaged goods. I used the link on the website to email them (as per the returns instructions) but received no reply. I then tried the email address from their invoice and again had no reply. I replied to their original emails about the order and had no reply. I also left a phone message and received no return phone call. I am left with damaged goods.

I will not be purchasing from pet planet again.

I ordered some goods, but unexpectedly had to be away from home for 3 nights (Tuesday to Friday). During this time there was two attempts to deliver and a courier card was left saying the goods could be picked up within 5 days.
So within the 5 day time period I went to the courier company only to find my goods had been returned on Pet Planets request. I had also been charged for the return of the delivery.

I called Pet planet and they said this was their policy but they could arrange for another delivery - which I was also to be charged for. I cancelled the order and was expecting a full refund.
However I was only refunded the cost of the goods and still charged for both the failed delivery and additionally for the cost of returning the goods to Pet Planet.

After calling Pet planet again as a gesture of good will they refunded one of the delivery charges. Leaving me to still pay the other charge, despite having no goods to show for it.

I order loads of stuff online and have never had this trouble before.

Pet planet told me they are willing to loose business rather than change their policy. Seem like an excellent business plan!!!

The Pet Planet website is easy to use, and they offer great customer service. They also offer loads of information about everything, from different breeds to health and behavioural issues. I love having a look at some of the more unusual lines that they stock.

There are loads of reviews on the Pet Planet site posted by their customers and these really help (they seem happy to show bad and good reviews so they seem genuinely informative)

I have become a regular shopper here and can't recommend them highly enough
