“Excellent Service, great coverage and cheap!”

I signed up to tbe sim only 6 months contract with 1500mins unlimited text and 1gb data for £18 per month. Network is vodafone so great coverage! I have no problems with talk mobile. Dont always take notice of negative reviews sometimes peoples expectations are greater than what is on offer. Everything people are moaning about happens on all uk mobile networks. You just have to shop around for the best signal in your area and the best value tariff that money can buy. Talk mobile is the cheapest deal i found.

“As someone has already pointed out Talktalk mobile has...”

★★★★★

written by on 07/01/2011

As someone has already pointed out Talktalk mobile has only been running 3-4 months so God only knows what the people on here are talking about.

I wanted to post on here after recent developments ive had with the actual TALKTALK SIM ONLY CONTRACT.

Firstly I wanted to transfer my number over, however when sim card was delivered it was not my old number even though i supplied a pac code. I rang up the people i spoke to where English and they advised me theres only people based in the uk working on customer services for the mobile department:)This was good as i got my point across easily and had a new sim card ordered within literally 6 minutes!!! score!

Then however when i recieved my new old number i noticed i had recieved a bill for the sim i had cancelled which was the wrong number. Another 2 minute phone call the credit had been raised, error acknowledged and was using my new sim.

This customer service alone made me post my comments on here because although i encountered problems i had them dealt with better than if i had to sort it out myself. really quality customer service, for anyone else whos had a bit of a bad time with talktalk i recomend getting mobile just for how nice some of the people are at there uk branch

Well all the comments below are absolute nonsense, since Talktalk isn't even offering a mobile service yet. Talktalk won't begin to offer a mobile service until the 4th quarter 2010.

so yah boo sucks to all the other comments on this review site.

Great value for money and a nice fast connection to go with it. Price, reliability and support through the members forum. Fault that occurred during the transfer as a result of BT Openrech making a mess of things was dealt with quickly and efficiently by the faults team on the forums.

“I've got my home phone and internet with talk talk,...”

written by davidwjo on 20/08/2006

I've got my home phone and internet with talk talk, its cheap, better than BT, customer services are good (if you get through) so I put my daughter on talk mobile, she gets her credit each month, were happy, she wants more, maybe when she starts doing the dishes, but she can ring us for free and we can ring her for free, so if you've got children, it's the best, if there all on talk talk, plus family and friends, everyone rings each other for free, beat that!

Yes you can keep your old number you have to tell them beforehand that you want to keep it

Yes, Just request a PAC code (porting authorisation code) from Tesco telling them you wish to transfer your old mobile number to your new handset from TalkTalk and then let TalkTalk know that this is how you want the SIM set up. TalkTalk will ask you for your PAC code which Tesco provide you with. Just make sure the PAC code (usually valid for 1 month around time of transfer) is eligible to be used when you get your estimated "go live" date from TalkTalk.( this is the time when the new handset can be switched on and registered with TalkTalk's network provider for mobile services, it happens that Vodafone provide the cellular network coverage for Talkmobile so coverage is usually very good). If all goes well you'll be a very happy Bunny just like I was.(And also a bit richer every month)

All mobile providers have the facility to transfer a customers number to another network. Best for you to check you do not have any commitments to fulfill on Tesco mobile (if you have a contract) before making the move. Most will transfer your number in 3 to 5 days. Also use up any remaining minutes on Tesco mobile as this will not be transferred. Just need a PAC code from Tesco mobile to do the transfer.
