The title does not really do the food justice. It is a restaurant above a pub. I had the steak and ale pie that was meaty, tender and tasty. Great mushy peas too, I had a choice here. The chips were unusual in that they were real chips, cut into little square logs and stacked up in a little neat pile, how cool was that? I was with a large group we paid a visit after a day in the hills it was generally reported the food was excellent. The beer is also homemade and very good. I asked for ice cream as a desert and got three scoops of good vanilla, rather over priced this at £5.50 We all enjoyed the meal and would go again
