I used premier property lawyers to sell and buy a home. Online portal is easy and great to use, but I had typing errors on documents and also items not noticed that I thought should have done. I received conflicting information from them concerning an issue with the property I was buying and in the end pulled out of the purchase. Biggest worry was I had to phone twice to get the proceeds of my sale sent to my account. Eventually being paid 6 days after completion I would use them again, but would have reservations to be honest.

Overall experience was ok , I did find it frustrating from time to time trying to speak to my conveyancer (contact usually 15min intervals at arranged times) but I must say if I sent an email the response was always quickly dealt with. My only real gripe was the amount of time it took to transfer my money as there had been a block put on paying me until I had produced identification which I was not made aware of until I rang to find out what was going on . If this had not happened at the end I would of scored a four out of five but I have scored a three now based on the lack of communication at the very final stage

Overall the experience was good when you could reach a person to speak to. The people were efficient and knowledgeable. The recurring issue I had was with trying to contact someone via telephone. I was always greeted by a electronic message to say my conveyancer was busy. This is very frustrating adding additional stress to an already stressful situation. You should think about having a triage system where you are greeted by a person who will take a message and give you a timeframe for response from the person you are trying to contact. You can then plan your own time more effectively safe in the knowledge that you are being looked after by a caring organisation who takes pride in what it offers to it's fee paying customers. Regards

The process started off really well but then there was a complete lack of communication on how things were developing.I ended up contacting relevant people myself and resolving issues that were holding the process up.Our conveyencer seemed efficient most of the time but seemed to wait for communication from other people when i felt she should of been pressing them for the information needed to speed things along

Happy with the conveyancing when I was selling my house. But when I was buying my new home through a new thing call the modern method of auctioning they excepted my case and I filled out the welcome pack. And by off change I decided to check the progress online weeks in only to find My case closed with them. On phoning Premier the receptionist didn't have a clue didn't know why the case had been closed down. And I was left to ring around and find out who was doing the conveyancing. I was getting email from a unknown firm which I ignored because Premiere was my conveyancer and thought it was just junk mail. It turned out that they are my new conveyancers sending me their welcome pack etc. then i re-rang Premier stating my dissatisfaction and wasnt given any justification on why i wasn't told or any kind of apology.if I hadn't contacted them how many weeks would I have lost?

It was ok, but the services was not that great. I found that I had to keep contacting the lawyer to hear what was happening. At one point, I became really frustrated. However, it all came through in the end.

Premier sent us a detailed statement telling us how much we would receive after the sale of our property less their charges and that was fine , but when they transferred the money into our accounts there was £105.00 missing, we asked why, and they had deducted their bank charges from our money without permission , why couldn't they have sent us cheques ? I have asked for the money back but I'm ignored so far . I will update this review if things change . No issues with the service just the missing £105

We were very happy how quickly we got in new property I was very very disappointed the times I had to ring for my money after every thing was done and not happy not getting right solicitor when I needed to ask anything important .

I am a mortgage broker so deal with solicitors all the time. My job would involve me in working with clients similar to what solicitors will work with and I understand the speed and importance of a purchase for a buyer. I believe that my solicitor was good on the phone. He had time to spend with me and explain things in a lot of detail when I did not understand. I really appreciate this. However, I would have to ring in 2-3 times over 2-3 days in order to get my solicitor to get back to me. this could be because the admin team were not passing across messages or because the solicitor just didn't get back to me. I understand that people are very very busy which is why I only got in touch once per day asking when can I expect a call back but a lot of times I did not hear back. I am very grateful for the service I received when I actually got to speak to Mo because when I did get contact, he was brilliant and explained things in a way that I would expect someone to explain something to a first time buyer.

had great service. Wrote lovely reviews throughout but now they've had my money they are not bothered that my cheque has not arrived and I will have to pay more interest on the loan. They could have good willed the problem by not charging me to send the money quicker direct to my bank but they would rather have a disappointed customer than look after them . Poor after sales I would no longer recommend them. I believe there service isn't over until everything is complete and me not receiving cheque means service not complete

This company suffers from poor communications.I sincerely believe that they do value you as a customer however this may not seem apparent. I cannot comment on the other poor reviews,i do think that with a little tweeking this company would perform much better and probably deserves better reviews. In conjunction with London & County Mortgages,this company handled the conveyancing and given the other negative reviews it would seem absurd to recommend them.However i must speak as i find and overall i think they did a good job.
