People, don’t Prescribe With This Company And Repor
People, don’t prescribe with this company and report this company! They have tricked me off two years ago They DO NOT respond to your messages on their site and there is NO WAY of calling them either!!!
I tried again two weeks ago, after two years of not trading with them.
I just checked if my profile was still there and if I still had my 60 days of trading days left.
Because, that was the issue I had with this company two years ago. I asked my money back that I paid for 1Year of advertising my room on their site, because I wasn’t happy with their bad service, but they just didn’t respond!!!.
But from the moment I decided to activate my profile and I contacted them two weeks ago, NO MF RESPONSE!!!
I hope they are already ROTTING behind bars!!!!!
Trading Standards Should Investigate
I wish I had found this review site before I parted with my money. I was trying to advertise my spare room to raise some much needed money. I subscribed to this site. posted my advert on a Friday. By Monday it hadn't gone Live so I contacted the firm and received no response. I admit I then spotted a typo in my text so I corrected it and allowed a couple of days for it to be validated. Again, I contacted the website owner using their messaging but received no response. I chased them again and threatened to report to UK Trading Standards, but over one week later still the advert is 'waiting validation'. This is either no longer being administered or is a sham. Either way I believe the owner should be investigated to protect others from also falling victim.
Avoid!
Tried advertising my spare room on this site. Made one tweak to advert and as it's supposedly moderated you need to wait one business day for validation. It's been a week and in mean time I cannot contact anyone not even the potential lodger I had arranged a viewing with. Five nights only provide a contact form again stating they reply within one business day they don't. Am still waiting to hear from someone. Definitely not a legitimate site. I agree with all the below. Avoid unless you can afford to waste £30.
Awful Website. Avoid!
I have subscribed to this website to advertise my property about 10 ago. The website seemed to work for 2 days, after that no messages could be sent or received. I have tried to contact Fivenights.com several times but I only receive an error message.
A total waste of money and time. Disgraceful.
Unfortunately, I have had the same experience, it is a dormant site, I sent several messages to potential lodgers but I did not have one single relpy. There is something very dodgy about this site. They promised new listings every day but thisa is not the case. A total waste of money.
Terrible Website. Doesn't Work. Avoid
I advertised my property on this site and quite quickly suspected that the messaging page wasn't working as no one was contacting me. I asked people to contact me on my personal email, and still nothing. I tried to contact the people running the site but always received an error message. Annoyingly, I received emails from the website saying that I had received messages from people interested in the room but when I logged onto my account, there was nothing there. I paid £30 for absolutely nothing and don't know how to get my money back.
I had the exact same experience but I paid £49.95 for nothing, will get it back through Paypal who will not tolerate such a sham as this website is.
Misleading
Looks like an established site and does a good job of making you believe you are accessing a large prospective pool but I paid £30 only find that the "matches" were nothing like a good fit and the very small handful of what could be described as "matches" were stale leads. A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME
Waste Of Money!!
Ive paid £49.95 to join this site only to not receive a confirmation email or be allowed to access my profile at all. I have sent an email requesting a call back only to be told something completely different to my request. This site is an absolute waste of my time and money!!
I am not happy at all with there service.
Hi I'm Chris from Fivenights. Sorry to hear you have not been happy with our service and we will of course put this right.
Not receiving a registration confirmation email or being able to access your profile sounds like a possible typing error during registration - which we can easily fix. All our customers automatically receive a number of emails including a registration confirmation.
Please get back in touch with us so that we can identify your account, and we will be more than happy to help you sort this out to your complete satisfaction.
Not Sure If This A Legitimate Company
Found this website that looks promising as I was looking to rent a room Monday to Friday to working professional only. So signed up (foolish of me)
as its only after I signed up that noticed there is no Company Registration number listed anywhere on the site which raised some questions in my mind.
Having done a couple of searches the same Fivenights. com Company registration keeps coming up - but is listed as a Dormant Company with no cash in Hand and no profit made - which is incorrect as they are charging rental advertisers at £30.00 per pop to advertise a room and there are hundreds of landlords advertising on this site, so they are not a Dormant Company nor are they not making any money and they certainly supposed to have cash in hand
Also they take £30.00 off you one time for 90 days of advertising - While the site allows you to upload pictures and a discription and a map location - There is no where put a phone number to contact you except in the description. Everytime you change something in your ad - it takes a day to re-validate it - so no prospective tenant can see your ad
The messaging system is non existent - I have sent over 30 messages to people - they only way tenants seem to know if they have received a reply to their is if they are notified by Fivenights, which does not notify you accurately I received 2 replies to my offer of a room and none these message showed up in the message section and I was only notified on one message from Fivenights - I have to click on each one of my favorites (all the people I sent messages to) in order to see who replied and that is how I came across the other message So if a prospective tenant received a message from a landlord, it seems they are most likely not going to be notified - its seems the whole is thing is quite terrible and they are making alot of money doing it.
Don't waste your time with this site, its an utter waste of money!!!!
You should be named and shamed all over social media!!!
SHAME ON YOU BOTH!!!!!!!!!
Same here i recently signed up too - and have messaged about 30/40 people and only had 2 or 3 replies which seems a bit odd - surely not everyone can be that rude?
Hi my name is Chris and I run fivenights.com. Firstly thank you for your frank review, we've read it carefully, and whilst we're continually improving our site, I want to let you know how we've acted upon your specific concerns.
White Rose Software Limited operates the fivenights.com website, and our company registration details are at the bottom of each page. Fivenights.com ltd was registered for possible future use.
All our adverts are fully moderated, which we understand can be inconvenient at times. We strive to minimize the disruption this causes by not requiring re-moderation when you alter minor details such as price or room size. Although we promise a one business day turnaround on this, it's often much less in practice.
We've now made our messaging system more intuitive, this is an ongoing process and we welcome any feedback on our progress - contact details can be found on the site.
