The Last Straw Was That Drivers Seat Heater That F

The last straw was that drivers seat heater that failed. After spending nearly $10,000 in repairs over 5 years ownership, I was just sick. As much as I loved driving the car and the looks of it, I absolutely hated it. It stole several weeks of my life away from me going back and forth to the repair shop. It robbed me of $10,000 in repairs that under normal circumstances should never have happened to any car.

The day I traded it for my 2007 Honda Accord with leather, V6 and 6 speed manual was the happiest day of car ownership!

The Quality Of The Bmw 740i Is Total; Engine, Body

The quality of the BMW 740i is total; engine, body, interior, transmission, breaks, suspension, steering, comfort, safety, control, style, a discreet work of art.At 170 km/h'silence, silence and tranquil exhilaration, confidence, time and space disappear. It is better to drive this car solo'no distractions, just the pure joy of driving. However, passengers will also love the ride. When on this car, people tend to speak less.On this car, a sharp curve bends against the laws of physics and stretches and flattens as you ride it.A road in bad conditions on the 740i transforms into a velvety path. The breaks; simply superb'the car simply stops, now, gently, even in demanding situations.Power'289 hp, enough to get you from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds'at 100 km/h press the gas pedal and you will find yourself gliding at 160 in no time. The sound of the engine is glorious.Everything in this car is about smoothness, stillness, efficiency, beauty and precision, considered a luxury car, there is nothing ostentatious, false, fake or superfluous about the 740i. This is not a show-off car. Everything in it has a purpose, nothing is fake. The BMW 740i is German car making at its best. There are some real problems to the 740i:Trips are too short, no matter how long. There is no Autobahn here in Canada. The speed limit becomes increasingly meaningless and absurd. You will choose a coffee shop not necessarily for the good coffee, but for a convenient parking spot, so that you may enjoy your coffee while contemplating your car. From your 740i, sunsets are redder, rain is poetic, stars are closer.Whether you are a religious person or not'this car will become your personal chapel.I bought my 1995 740i with 106,000 km, in an astonishing, like-new condition. If you are planning to buy one for yourself, go for it, just make sure that you are buying it from someone you trust, review the service history and take it for an inspection before closing the deal. The 740i is a hungry car, but it delivers in proportion (89 octane gasoline, 85 litres tank, up to 700 kms per tank.).There are some small, great BMW " European Imports shops, as an alternative to the BMW dealerships; they are usually half the price for parts and labour, and as efficient or more. This is not a Ferrari, a Lamborghini, a Porsche or a Bugatti Veyron, which you would most likely not use for your everyday driving. The BMW 740i is a car to enjoy everyday, alone or with company. This car was designed for long trips between European Cities, it was made to last, to protect its passengers, to perform, and to be enjoyed.A 10 out of 10.

3k Bought This 1994 Bmw 7 Series 740i On Gut Insti

3k bought this 1994 BMW 7 Series 740i on gut instinct... no service history.. no owner documentation. But thankfully my instinct bought me a lady owned 42k genuine vehicle with as it turns out a full BMW service history and it is Superb, now looking for a 750 for more family outings and track days !!

If like me you are looking for a 60k bargain and want to stand out from the crowd.. forget the Subaru's Evo's and M3's buy an earlier 7 series. It still has the looks grunt and BMW engineering excellence that made the family one of the richest on the planet you will not be disappointed !!

The Bmw 7-series 740i V8 Ls Is All The Car Anyone

The BMW 7-Series 740i V8 LS is all the car anyone could possibly need, although it doesn't look as classy as a Mercedes S-Class. Despite its size, it elegant. It's the luxury car for people who like to drive rather than be driven. My 7-Series is almost flawless; a fantastic amount of car for the money. Servicing and parts costs a lot, but not as much as the depreciation. I haven't had any problems with my BMW. The car is smooth to drive - the suspension irons out every little bump. It is an exciting car to drive. The V8 engine is tremendous. The cabin is sumptuous with cosseting seats and a quiet smooth ride. The rear legroom is adequate.

The car has more class than the old S-Class. The car is safe as it has ABS and twin airbags. I don't have to worry about security because the car is equipped with an alarm and immobiliser.

I recently had a road test in this model and I feel you would have to be very easily pleased to give this car a recommended rating.

The interior is nothing special for the price, the 'i' drive is complicated and not intuitive.

The suspension is bettered by Audi A8,Mercedes S430 Lexus LS 430 and (and I have since bought one of these cars after extensive road testing) and according to JDPowers and American consumer reviews the BMW 7 is not a reliable choice.
