This Is Just A Pile Of Rubbish. Do Not Buy One.
This is just a pile of rubbish. Do NOT buy one. Has to be the worst picture quality I have ever seen in any digital imaging device. Took it back to the shop for a refund and they told me that just about everyone who bought one has brought it back for a refund and they have now sent the whole shipment back to Trust and have stopped selling them. AVOID!

the picture is so misaligned it has to be pointed 45' off target! won't work properly on MSN messager 6.1

I bought the Trust 380 USB 2.0 SpaceC@m web cam as replacemant for an 4 year older cam because of the design its size and capabilities.
Although light sensativity is much better and you are able to set all kinds of settings automatic it still gives not the quality of image you would expect from a modern camera in the evening with lamp light.
Maybee I have too much expectations from a webcam but on the other hand this is one of the main features where it is used for in general.
The problem what irritated me the most was the lens. There was too much zoom build-in. This is no camera to mount on top of your screen, because then only half your face is visible on the screen. I had to sit one meter away from the camera to hardly get my whole face visible, not able to reache my keyboard any more.
Also it shot at an angle of 15 degree, so facing the lens in a straight way resulted in only my ear on the picure. Both could be a manufacturing problem.
I think this is a nice camera for room observations or making small video clips, but not for netmeeting and messenger purposes.
I brought it back to tho shop, who sadly had no other ones in stock to prove my experiences.
very poor low light performance, impossible to balance on top of a flat screen TFT monitor, some of the included software does not function and to date have been unable to get it to work for two way video conferencing - no doubt connected to a driver version 1.0. Well developed there NOT.

I found exactly the same prob - too much zoom (non-adjustable), the lense is askew by 15 degrees and the picture is apalling unless I use a halogen spotlight haha no thanks. Im taking it back tomorrow. I'll get one of the Creative range, fab pic and £10 - £20 cheaper too.
i can tell you 100% that you do not have this camera plugged into a USB 2.0 port as the name of the camera would suggest you do.. i know this because i got this camera before i got usb 2 and suffered the same thing, and my image kept flicking to green... as soon as i fitted my usb 2 and reloaded my drivers it was perfect, great stability and wider field of view, if only you could read the box or the manual where it says if you dont use usb 2 you may experience some downgrading of quality cos its not designed for it.

I bought the Trust 380 USB 2.0 SpaceC@m web cam on recommendation of a known salesman. The cam works good and is easy to install. However the quality in the evening was poor. It would need a very big light to be able to give a good picture in the evening. Moreover, after about fifteen minutes of working small spots where visible. These disappeared after i let the cam cool down and reappeared after while.
I have returned the cam
