JVC GC1EK

I've thoroughly enjoyed using my JVC GC1EK camera. Its mainly used for taking pictures when I'm out hiking and I've got some wonderful pictures. However I find that pictures of people are disappointing, as the camera is poor at reproducing skin tones. In fact colour reproduction is one of its poor points. Dispite this, for taking landscapes where colour isn't so critical the camera is great. I found the camera very easy to use, the menu was very clear and easy to navigate, although the controls are a little to easy to reach and are often changed without us being aware of it. On the whole I've had great fun with this but I am now looking for a more advanced camera with better zoom and colour reproduction. I bought the camera from the Shopping Channel outlet shop and got it at an extremely good price at the time. However I don't think I would have found the camera such good value if I Had paid the full retail price.

I bought the JVC GC1EK camera off a G.B shopping channel for a great price and have found it to be one of the best digital cameras I have come across. It has good features and is easy to use. I have however found it difficult in getting accessories.....

for price paid, granted it was bought in USA, I think it would have been worthwhile considering the kodak digital still camera that we know does produce good pictures, the jvc pictures seem to be grainy.
