Went To The Blanco Y Negro Apartments First 2 Week
Went to the Blanco Y Negro Apartments first 2 weeks in July 2006. Pretty basic apartments could do with upgrading. But ideal location for just about everything. We had a brilliant holiday. I loved Es Cana [first time on island] on the 10th July ther was a fantastic firework display on the beach, truly not to be missed. Overall a brilliant holiday.

loved Blanco Y Negro Apartments.. going back this year..although staying in hotel miami because I wanted pampering, but if you want a reasonably cheap holiday with adequate accomodation, friendly staff and the beach on your doorstep, this is your place!! One advantage the hotels have over self catering is the entertainment on the evening.. if staying here, you can visit hotels, though, and they don`t mind if you join in. clean apartments, and would stay again.

Brilliant holiday in Es Cana, 2002 (brill place) but apartments were poor- however very central and close 2 sea which was nice. Good restaurant- the jacaranda. Use of the zodiac pool is not v appealing as u have 2 walk down main street and it is already crowded. Food in zodiac cafe poor. Not much nite life, hippy market excellent! Apartment 10 minute walk away from hippy market on Wednesday.
Although i agree that the apartments are not fantastic they are clean and basic. But i do not agree that the food in the poolside restaraunt was poor, we never had a bad meal there, the breakfast was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the position is fantastic. We had a choice of sunbeds morning or afternoon which is very welcome after some resorts i have been to and watched people fight over the beds. If at all possible try to get rooms at the Zodiac which is part of the complex. What it does need is air con as the ceiling fan in the room was on full whenever we were in the room but made little difference.
