The Phone Is Very Well Featured And Battery Life I
The phone is very well featured and battery life is excellent. All the graphics do make it a girls phone though (not to sure about the mother duck and babies that cross the screen when you turn it off) the phone is almost too small but in general I can see no problems with it. A far cry from the old Motorola V series. Polyphonics are good and the general menu is convenient. Buttons are awkward sometimes due to the size of the phone
Do you know how I can get a ringtone or logo for the cl50

I Bought This Little Beauty From Www.mobilefly.com
I bought this little beauty from www.mobilefly.com about a month ago. The Siemens CL50 mobile phone is sleek and extremely small - with only 73 x 39 x 22 mm it's almost 2 cm shorter than Ericsson T66. Wow!
It has cool blue display light and orange keypad light. The phone's got an internal and an external display and I like the design very much. It has good menus much like the other Siemens phones with programmable shortcuts.
It has also got an address book where you can store up to three numbers per contact plus birthdays. The built-in calender gives easy access to appointments and it is possible to view days, weeks or a month at a time.
Other features include calculator, currency converter, alarm and dual world clock where you can select your city on a world map - cool :)
Of course it also has a WAP browser, but it lacks GPRS.
It is possible to compose your own polyphonic ringer melodies and the phone has support for downloading 20 tunes, but Siemens still doesn't supply any downloadable tunes on the internet !
Siemens market this phone as exclusively for women, but hey this just adds a little excitement ;-)
I give this phone 9 stars for the lack of GPRS and international software versions. I also think it's a shame that you cannot buy any accessories yet.
For more info I suggest you take a look at Siemens Hong Kong page and their international site. There are also some nice pictures at http://www.threegmobile.net/gallery/siemenscl50/
