Up There With John Lewis!
Sensing I may need some warranty work on an oven bought some months ago, I looked for my copy of the sales invoice without success. I contacted Empire Direct's customer service by e-mail asking if they could trace the details of the sale.
They came back to me within a couple of hours, not only with the sale details, but with a .pdf copy of the sales invoice!
I have also had excellent service from their sister company, Richer Sounds, who cheerfully replaced a sound bar that turned out not to be suitable for my needs.
They are now up there on my "Top Sellers" list with John Lewis.

Dishwasher
This is about the speedy service Empire Direct have. Dishwasher died Friday, ordered new Siemens one by 8pm and was delivered by 8am next morning. During the order process emails and texts came through to inform us of the timings for delivery. Staff great. In our haste to have the old one taken away at 8am we forgot to remove the specialist knife rack. Customer services have replace it, which was very kind. Will use again.

Hopeless!
We ordered a cooker from empiredirect - on the phone they agreed to waive the collection fee of £9.99 for the old cooker to be taken away.
When the new cooker arrived the delivery men refused to take the old cooker. They refused to phone the company to sort the mess out and left but not after having first left great big dirty muddy track marks the length of our hall carpet because they were to lazy to clean / dry the two wheel trolley beforehand.
I called empiredirect and they told me the take away service had been cancelled. Complete rubbish!
No they have rearranged for us to wait in all day from 7am to 7pm to collect the old cooker because there computer can't give us a more helpful time.
Now we're looking forward to the damage team from empiredirect calling us to get the carpets cleaned...
