I have had this Panasonic for over 7 years (and still going strong) and had no problem with it, other than the front flap, the clips have broken which means the flap doesn't click back in place so lifts out slightly other than that a very good TV overall with as near as HD quality you could get.It also has the 100hz digital scan making the picture quality superior to TV's of there time,i am putting off getting an HD TV as my mum has one and can't see the difference between the two. Yes It has only 2 scart sockets which for me is plenty.

Excellent Picture For A Non Hd Tv. A Heavy An Expe
Excellent picture for a non HD TV. A heavy an expensive mistake to take down the dump. Reliability. Packed up after 3 years. Would not power on. Spares back up non existent. Very disapointed with Panasonic, as I've always used them. I do not recommend the Panasonic TX32PL10 widescreen tv.

I Would Like To Make A Remark On The Crt Tube Qual
I would like to make a remark on the CRT tube quality problems of the TX32PL10 TV set: this problem is a general concern of all major manufacturers and not only Panasonic, because of the killing competition on the A/V media market, the production quality and testing criteria of the tubes has been less strict to highten the production numbers and thus make more profit in general. I am the (proud) owner of a TX32PL10 and had some problems with the tube quality myself. After a brief talk with Panasonic Ltd the tube was replaced with a better one without any dificulty's or questions asked, that's good service!

Having Been A Panasonic Customer For Many Years I
Having been a Panasonic customer for many years I was on the whole disappointed with the quality of the Panasonic TX32PL10 TV. I have had and returned two of these sets now and am moving onto either a Philips or Sony. The picture on the first set was extremely good (enough to make me smile), but was spolit by an annoying audiable buzz that could be heard above dialouge (worse still with Text on). However, things got worse with the second set, the buzz remained and was now complimented by a very dark picture that lacked the excellent contrast of the first. Even on full contrast and with tweaking the picture ad infinitum I could not get a decent, watchable picture. May be that the picture on the second set was a rouge but the buzz certainly remained - my advice 'try before you buy', which is difficult is you are buying over the net!!
I have had the same problem with a TX28PL4. The buzzing was very annoying and noticable above dialogue. The picture also bends when there are vertical lines in the picture.
I have a tx32pl10 and think its fantastic...great picture, good sound (without being outstanding), and a fantastic choice as an entry level widescreen tv
