Tried to send a parcel to Spain. After receiving an email message stating recipient was not available to accept parcel, even though we have a 24 hour reception, we tried to re-arrange delivery. We were then informed the parcel was damaged and we were blamed for this for improper packaging, even though an alleged attempt had already been made to deliver the item. After numerous emails over a period of approx 6 weeks parcel force refused to deliver the parcel to our address in Spain and returned it to the UK. We were then informed we would have to pay to have it returned to our UK address. Because Parcel Force refused to telephone us or give us a telephone number to ring them our only choice was to send more emails. Finally the parcel was returned to us. After approx 8 weeks and £25 out of pocket for the delivery charge we received our broken parcel back to the UK address we had originally posted from. Surprise, surprise we have also been told this item (a clock) is on the list of items which are exempt from compensation. THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST SERVICES I HAVE EVER USED. MY ADVICE TO ANYONE WOULD BE TO AVOID USING THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
