“Send dead plant under guise of “buy 2 get one free””

Written on: 24/04/2019

Bought 6 plants. Only 4 have survived. One of the dead clematis was dead shortly after planting. Corresponded with the company and sent picture ps only to be given run around about what I should do to revive it. Followed up recently and they won’t send replacement. Dreadful. I have been very understanding. Obviously ship out duff product no wonder it was buy 2 get 1 free. More like buy 2 get another one dead.

  • Avoid better suppliers out there.

Hi, Ive been buying plants from taylors clematis almost every month for the past 3 years, and have always been very happy. At no point in this 3 year period have they ever had a Buy 2 get 1 free deal (or any buy anything get anything free deal) they do not cheapen there selves and offer 'deals' like this. There plants are failrly priced across the board and offer £1 per plant discount on orders of 5 or more plants.
I think you have got your wires crossed with companies here and have submitted a negative review of a decent company.

I haven’t got any wires crossed. It’s you who is making things up. No one would buy clematis every month for three years as you say you have given Clematis don’t survive planting in the heat of summer or depths of winter. I think you’re confused with Plastic Lookalike Clematis. I also have at least a dozen email exchanges with this company who did their best to give me the run around. I’m glad you’re happy but don’t assume everyone has had the same experience.
