Bureaucrats know more than vets?

Scandalous - Don't touch them with a barge pole - think much more than twice before handing over your money to these bandits. They certainly don't deserve any stars!

My daughter's dog had a run in with a cat when it was much younger and got swiped across the face resulting in an eye problem that was resolved by a vet trip and some drops. Four and a half years later he developed an eye ulcer than her vet was worried about treating so referred her to the Royal Vet School at Newmarket.
Cutting a long story short Sainsburys declined to pay out saying it was an ongoing condition. Her Vet wrote in support saying it wasn't, the RVS Vet wrote saying that if it was ongoing and that the dog had an eye ulcer for 4 1/2 years it would be blind yet apparently Sainsburys know best. Why are these idiots allowed to administrate policies - I am sure if Sainsbury's actually bothered to consult a vet they would know that they are wrong
