“Delays and excuses”

I cannot believe that any company monitored by the FSA can behave like this! Initially, I was told that my pension lump sum could not be paid on the due date because it fell on a Saturday. I was assured it would be in on the following Monday. I phoned on the Moday to enquire why it was not in the bank. I was told it would be "processed tomorrow" and would take "a couple of days for it to clear". Very difficult, they continually change their requirements and take a long time to respond to correspondence.

exactly the same experience. Sent the POA which had been accepted by everybody else but they refused to accept it. Dreadful company.
