“Easy, reliable, quick!”

After reading previous reviews I was apprehensive about applying. I have a very poor credit rating and had been declined from other companies, however, I needed money for car repairs. I applied for £100 and was soon accepted for a £500 limit. Thinking it was too good to be true I stuck to my £100 and it was in my bank within 15 mins - despite it being 1am on a Sunday morning. I still have 400 that I can access if and when I need it which makes me feel a lot better. I can also pay off my 100 over 5 months! Can't recommend enough!!!!

“Needs a lot of improvement”

I would like to start off on a positive note by saying that the principle Sunny is based on is good, giving people the option of more time to pay back a loan as opposed to expecting full repayment plus interest within one payday month etc...HOWEVER...the practice is where it all falls down, their initial credit check system is clearly 'reject happy', in order to pass that you would need to have a credit rating and report that's so clean you probably wouldn't need a loan in the first place, certainly not one that can be paid over 5 months, I know that sounds absurd but I'm just telling it like it is, they're not the only 'reject happy' lender to be fair, there are others that will spit people out who should have been accepted, they're as bad as most banks when it comes to 'criteria' and you know what they say about banks 'to get a loan from your bank at the moment you need to prove to them you don't need one' Lol, it's mad but at least with your bank you will probably get to speak to a real person who will make an initial assessment regarding whether you can afford the loan or not. Most of these payday lenders like Sunny rely on a clearly flawed online system to make their initial assessment, the thing about Sunny in particular is that it's defeating the whole object of giving borrowers who need the kind of loan flexibility they offer, if they are then going to turn away the very people who would best benefit from said flexibility and only allow people who don't actually need it to take out a loan with them, eg, someone with a high credit score and no defaults or other blemishes on their report is highly unlikely to need 5 months to pay back a small loan where as someone with a mediocre to poor one probably would, it's pointless advertising "loan repayment flexibility" if it can't be used by the people who need it, who else would need it??, they need to lower their credit check system criteria otherwise they might just as well get rid of the 5 month option and just be another payday lender!

So your reasoning to ''avoid them'' is based purely on the fact that they turned you down, hahahahaha....Not worth the review really is it.

“Don't waste your time there”

I sometimes use payday loans, usually wonga becouse its easy to repay early to avoid huge interest. Suddenly new company appears on market, same as wonga but they don't charge transfer fees. I thought it was better deal than wonga. Applied for a £100 within two seconds declined, alas saying my credit score is not good enough. My score is above average according to experian. I never missed a payment do have ccj. As title says dont waste your time there.

Why do they need my full debit card details before I have been accepted? As they say they do not have any fees so I would like a reason as I feel this is dodgy considering I can't find their full terms and conditions that could have hidden fees etc in it on their web page!

I think it is to prove you have a debit card, so that they know when it is time for you to pay, you are who you say you are, And that you are good for the repayments.
