Awful Experience
After consolidating some bills, my bank mailed a certified cheque to their company (via the Yonge Street address...the only "mailing address" on their site). The payment was at least 2 weeks early. They debted my account and claimed they had never received any money. My bank refused payment because Dollars Direct should of had my money. A few days later, I receive an email from them stating that they are going to debt my account that day...with $71 added to the original amount. When I called their customer service they passedme around and I finally ended up talking to "Carlos" in collections. He was rude, and they could not be bothered to even check to see if the cheque was at the Yonge Street address. He told me that it was just an office address. The loan officer (who is also the financial manager at my branch) could not even phone them to discuss the issue because she did not have power of attorney. I will be spending yet another day getting this mess sorted out. I WOULD NEVER, EVER USE THIS COMPANY. THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE MEANING OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS.
