Every time I use my fan oven the smell of cooking lingers in the kitchen even overnight. I do have the extractor on but it does not help. What can I do to avoid these awful lingering smells ?

Any suggestions about the timer bleep volume please? It's almost inaudible even when in the same room with nothing else working. Impossible to hear if you leave the kitchen.
