We bought a CDA DV1180 double oven and wish we hadnt, its cheap and nasty and had several issues, from glass doors shattering cause they used cheap glass that couldnt handle the heat not thru impact, just in use as an oven. Too control knobs failing and I quote the engineer "You have to turn them slowly cause they are not very good" Too a glass lamp cover shattering in my hand when it was being gently unscrewed to replace a bulb, causing a nasty cut. I will be taking this light cover to Trading Standards as I believe it will fail standards test. There Customer services is very poor. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BUY A BETTER MAKE WE WISH WE HAD

When making toast the glass door condenses up so cannot see inside, no grill handle, if try to make toast with door open the control panel condenses, is this normal or a fault? Cannot get a response from customer care apart from I can call for a service visit if faulty, is it faulty?

Poor product that does not completely suck but needs vast improvements. I would not recommend this to a friend.

Is this worth the price? NO. I regret getting it because I could have gotten something similar for much much much cheaper but it is what it is. At least it does the job right?

What a beautiful piece of machinery. I absolutely love it.

New kitchen installed less than 3 months old mainly CDA appliances , oven fan breaks down March 25th service egineer comes 8th April repairs the fan . Breaks down again August 5th then egineer comes out August 13th to repair the fan, looks at the inside of the oven and condems as the protective coating is coming off takes picture he will send pictures to CDA when he returns to the office . 3rd September oven still not been replaced or repaired the fan is still not working the protective coating still coming off. We have also been very lucky as the CDA filter tap had seized solid so no longer could be used we did not bother with the very very very poor aftersale of CDA or the equally as poor product I fitted a Bristan tap this product is excellent. We are just waiting for the induction hob to stop working happy days 2 year warranty will be up before the oven is fixed. CDA DC740 built under double oven no good points poor product very poor aftersales 7months still not fixed. CDA TC10 CH single lever chrome filter tap no good points very poor.
