I used Double8Tickets for the Elephant Man with Bradley Cooper. It was of course sold out so googled on the internet and found one frontrow seat on Friday 31/07/2015.
Now I had looked at the theatre's box office and the most expensive ticket was 108 £. So Double8Tickets was offering this one for 175 £ + 9.95 booking fees. That was a steep price so I thought ... OK ... let's consider it as a "once in a lifetime experience" ... seeing Bradley Cooper from the front row!!
When I picked up the ticket on that day (they would not ship it as I am living abroad) I see that the face value is ... 61 £ + 4 fees!?
There I believe that more than 3x the face value of a ticket is a total rip off.
So conclusion is: although I enjoyed very much play and Bradley Cooper ... I would say ... only if you are desperate for a ticket. I don't see that happening again to me!
