I recently wanted o purchase some climbing boots and after checking the stock availability online I visited the LIverpool store. None in! I was then down in Sheffield 2 days ago so visited the store there after checking online for availability. None in again in my size!They offered to reserve and collect which I had to pay for there and then, saying they would arrive the next day between 11 and 2. I rang at 3. No sign. Then at 4. No sign. I eventually decided to return home to Lancashire where I rang customer service where Id been told by Sheffield I could get a refund. No joy. They dont give refunds online and I would have to go to Blackburn |20 mile round trip). |I eventually got a refund but what a lot of effort for nothing. The computer system needs overhauling. Can I just add that all the staff were really pleasant and helpful and must be equally frustrated by their stock showing as available online when it actually isnt. They must get a lot of angry customers who have had a wasted journey.
