Avoid At All Costs. Disgusting Customer Service
I’ll start by saying I’m only giving this review as Acycles’ treatment of me has been nothing short of appalling.
In short, placed an order for about £750, kept one of the items, returned the rest by tracked insured post, which arrived back with them within days. From there, it was just a horror story. They never answered the phone (if you can find the telephone number!), never answered over 27 emails (I kid you not), all this time I was accruing interest on my credit card. Eventually raised someone on the phone, assured me they would refund me. 3.5 MONTHS passed in total, trying to get my refund, and eventually, I got it. Despite this all being due to their complete incompetence and disregard for a customer, I received no apology, no remorse, no gesture to repay my accrued interest, cost of calls, nothing at all. A complete shambles of a company with the customer at the very bottom of their interest list. Worst retail experience of my entire 39 years.
Avoid at all costs, see past the constant clearance sale prices, it’s simply not worth it.

Acycles Gets Dodgy Retailer Of The Year Award
ACYCLES are such a dodgy retailer if you have a problem. Their customer service doesn't exist. They are just full of excuses as to why they cannot resolve a problem. That's assuming you can get hold of anyone.
That’s very true placed an order over a week ago keep getting cut off on the phone had to open a dispute with PayPal

No Problems With Them At All
I am in Canada and have bought 2 trainers from Acycles. Both transactions went smoothly and I was able to call them and speak to a representative who answered any questions I had.

Placed ordered 6th January. Today is the 31st January. Still haven't received order. Cant cancel as" its with the carriers". BEEN WITH THE CARRIERS FOR THE LAST WEEK . Will not give me tracking details either. WOULDNT ORDER AGAIN FROM THIS COMPANY ADVISE NO ONE DOES
Exactly the same scenario for me, ordered 21st January for an in-stock expensire trainer 700+ pounds, now 12th Feb and they claim it is with a courier, courier tracking system says it has not been received from acycles - basically they enter details into the courier system but don't ship it because its not in stock, then claim its a courier issue.
DO NOT USE.

Disgraceful company. They are based in France not Uk so any returns are expensive and problematic. They do not respond to emails or telephone calls. When you do get a reply, they fob you off claiming that a refund is imminent but you don’t actually get a refund and you’re back to square one. Do yourself a favour and don’t bother with Acycles.

They do not respond to emails or action orders.
The only communication I received from them was my refund after an escalation case with paypal. They neglected to respond to 4 emails over 8 days.

Appalling In Terms Of Customer Service, Shambolic Operations
Firstly:
- The phone line advertised as being available 'without interruption' between 8am-6pm could not be further from the truth. You may get an answer in the morning - if you try several times - but after midday I tried 4 times every half hour up till 5pm, across 3 days and NEVER got one answer! I was even asked to phone back at this time.
- They will NEVER reply to any email no matter how urgent
Other shitelights include:
- The people who answer the phone have no idea about or have any contact with the logistics dept. who know about the shipment of your order. So any issues here, no one can do anything.
- I was promised on the Tuesday and told again and again that my item had been dispatched and I would receive a tracking number any moment, delivery would be within 2 days.
Thursday afternoon (I'm in all day awaiting) get an email with tracking number - check UPS - ITS JUST BEEN CREATED!
I paid £10 for EXPRESS DELIVERY
The only reason I didn't refuse was for having no confindence of ever getting my money back. Sadly my shoes were not quite right fit and I couldn't return them anyway.

Awful Company! Avoid!
Ordered a pair of tyres and chased up via email after a week as I'd not received any confirmation that they had been dispatched.
I had an email back advising they had been on hold but had now been dispatched, however no tracking number given. After another week of sending emails and trying to call them (no-one ever answers) I raised a dispute via PayPal.
Eventually I get the tyres, but 5 WEEKS after I ordered them and they only sent them out on 48hr delivery once I had escalated via PayPal.
The worst online purchase experience I've ever had!

A Balls Up From Start To Finish!
I ordered two Continental tyres for my 29er. They sent one which was for a 26inch wheel and one for 29er. I contacted them, stated the problem and they agreed to the return and to refund my postage costs and a refund for the tyre as I would purchase elsewhere owing to time span of getting goods from France where they are based. I fitted the 29er tyre and found the tyre itself had a wobble. Had it tested at my local bike shop for and indeed it did have the same wobble now tried on 3 different wheels. So both tyres to be returned. They state to use a recorded service so used My Hermes. My returns package contained the email thread from them with relevant area highlighted about refunding my costs and the receipt for the return cost. Return arrived with them. Was with them for 5 days according to tracking but did not here anything. I sent another email and was refunded for the cost of the tyres only..... but not my postage costs. I sent another email 3 days ago with a copy of their promise they would refund my costs as the mistake was totally their doing. Have not heard anything as of yet.
