While these guys may or may not offer good rates. What they promise you on the phone, in regards to what you have to pay, is nothing less than lies. I was told very clearly on many occasions, during telephone conversation, what my maximum payment would be, for a card and pin machine, if I did not use the machine. When I read the small print it was in fact 4 times that amount. On recieving the contract I read it. Loads of things not right. Including rates, terms and very importantly! The fact that the contract is not with Payment Sense at all but with First Data Global Leasing (Google them for reviews, not pretty) I believe they do not even own the items you lease, therefore any issues are not easily dealt with. If I am honest I may have signed up with them if they had been honest in the first place. Remember the obviouse. IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!! IT IS. Be carefull and aware of promises made on the phone as the contract is what you will be stuck with, not the unprovable promises made by the salesman after his commission. I saved myself a small fortune by reading the small print. Not an honest company. I have no idea if there services are any good or not. Only that they will lie to you to get you to sign the contract.

I work as a sales rep for Payment sense and am appalled to hear of your experience with the sales person you spoke with

I joined Payment sense because of their reputation for providing a rare combination of a great desk aligned with a first class 24/7 service 365 days a year

Please note its not the company at fault here but one sales person and he or she does not and should not define the company as a whole

You did mention if they were more transparent about the terms if the contract you would have still probably gone ahead which is heartening to here

Thank you for noting the post. I did in fact tell the sales man what I wrote on the review. Also that for some very strange reason (which is hard to understand as a business man) Payment sense is not alone in this way of trying to sell. I have wasted so much of my time ralking to a few similar companies. And it has left me not trusting any of them. I will probably end up waiting and going via my bank. As I can go down there and personally grab the person who sells me any product. But refreshing to find someone wanting to put things right.
