I had to return my first pair of Glasses Direct frames after just under 8 months as they snapped over the bridge of my nose. The metal was very thin over my nose and didn't seem to have been adequate for the weight of the lenses either side. I was working and they suddenly slid down either side of my face. I had to argue with customer services over this - they "assessed" that the frames had been deliberately snapped, force had been applied. Certainly not the case. I finally managed to get them replaced - they weren't about to agree to any kind of refund - and the same thing has happened to the replacement pair today. Soft thin metal over the bridge of my nose has snapped as I put them on. They are inadequate quality and not fit for purpose. And this is again around about the 8 month mark since I got the replacement pair. So once again I have to be put to the inconvenience of not having glasses with up to date lenses and anticipate resistance from their customer services team to accept that the liability is in no way mine and spend time arguing the case. I would discourage anyone I know from using this company!
