The staff lie through their back teeth. If you want to change from carphone warehouse and keep your number, you just ask for your pac code and they can give it to you immediately. I was told that my contract had to be cancelled first before I could get my pac code. I have spent hours phoning their complaints department. I returned a faulty phone last wednesday and after phoning complaints dept again this morning, was told that my pac code wont be available until monday. I will then have been without my phone number for 11 days.
I am going to contact Ofcom if my pac code isnt through on monday. I would never buy a phone or contract from carphone warehouse.
