We paid for 1 year of monitoring with them. At the beginning of the 12th month it stopped monitoring saying our account is suspended even we still had more than 3 weeks left until expired. We tried to contact them multiple times via email and web portal. There is no phone number to call on the web site. So there is no way to contact them when there is a problem.

It worked my first year as a paid user, I subscribed for a 2nd year of service, but a few months ago it stopped alerting me of server outages!

Thankfully sentry sent message about outages. This is an unreliable service that doesn't notify you of 500 errors. For one site it detected it was down multiple times, but didnt notify me. It use to work, but stopped while my subscription is still active. You had one job!

I use service uptime for the last 3 years. I always forget to turn the monitoring off while server reboot and get down alerts. So I submit an email inquiry asking to remove the downtime. I have never waited more than 3-4 hours for the support. I love getting sms alerts instantly so I make sure my downtime is short as possible.

I signed up for the ServiceUptime.com monitoring service and it worked for 4 days and then STOPPED WORKING. When it stopped working, I looked for a support number on their site - you will NOT find a phone number ANYWHERE (BEWARE of Companies that do not provide a phone number!). I submited a Contact Form with promise of 24 hrs. I receive one email back with a suggetion that I followed, but did not work. I have sent 3-4 emails back trying to get the issue resolved and NOTHING, No Email reply, Services Still Not Working, No Phone Call. Now I plan to ask for the money back guarentee; you might be seeing another nasty review shortly. Would stay clear of ServiceUptime.com

If you just have one server or simple website then ServiceUptime will probably do what you want.

However, if you need to monitor several servers and/or services for SLA performance please stay well clear!! ServiceUptime's monitors do not handle DNS very well and tend to record inaccurate data when monitoring services against hostnames. Even worse, they won't even do anything about this.

I use ServiceUptime for over a year now and it helped me a lot with my online business. I'm always alerted instanly when my online shop becomes inacsessible so I can fix the problem asap.
