Aweber Communications Autoresponder

I wanted to set up an autoresponder for my mailing list campaign and the initial obvious choice was to try some free autoresponders. Although there were some good free services, nothing out there presented a complete package! Then I found out about aweber and at $1 for the first month to try - I thought I had nothing to loose. I didn't have much expectations from Aweber but must admit I was surprised (pleasantly of course).

Signing up and Registering with aweber is fairly straight forward. If you, like most people these days, have a paypal account, that's all you need. Remember, as with all responsible organizations, you will need to show your Business Name and address openly on your email correspondences.

Setting up the Campaign was very easy. All I had to do was use Aweber's campaign wizard to create my campaigns. These are quite flexible actually. You can choose to send customers to your best squeeze page or the sales page. You can also choose to send your customers to a personalized "Thank You" Page. The one thing that confused me a bit was their campaign builder status bar - which doesn't always seem to work. I had finished all my campaigns and would still tell me I had some steps left. But this was just a couple of times so didn't bother me really.

List Building Forms - This is where aweber was fantastic. The wizard driven form builder is VERY customizable so you can do pretty much whatever you want. If you have some web designing skills, you can add your logos and create a form using your own website's colour schemes. And, if you can code a bit, just take the script and create your own form on your website.

The one thing that I was most impressed by aweber was none of my emails were received as spams. These were genuine and specific emails to my customers so I was really worried about spamming people but was really pleased to see my emails were being received just as intended.

Overall, I'm very happy with this product and it's light and easy workflows will help you get your list building and followup on auto-pilot quickly.

I still give this a 4 star only because of the pricing - which at $19 a month can be heavy on your pocket if you are just starting out but hey if you are making money - this is one of the best investments you can make!
