“Nemo Interest Rates”

A warning to anyone considering a loan from Nemo Finance. Following your successful application, you will be provided with a variable rate loan. This is the only variable loan you will ever have which only goes one way..........up!!!! Try to get an explanation as to why your rate has increased but never decreased and they dance around the houses with all manner of excuses. I'm currently "enjoying" an exchange of letters with their complaints officer. His letters are full of inaccuracies and mis-information. Their telephone representatives have no idea of what they're talking about. They appear to refer to a script and are completely lost when confronted by someone who know's when they're being given the run around. A detailed and forensic investigation of this company by the FCA would see it heavily fined and, possibly, closed down. You have been warned!

Thank you for your Business response. Having exhausted your complaints procedure, and having it explained to me that; "Nemo Finance is under no obligation to reduce our rates", I believe the only option is to further the complaint to the appropriate authority. Perhaps Nemo Finance will provide them with the information Nemo choose to deny myself.
For the benefit of other's, I requested Nemo Finance enlighten me as to how many Nemo loans have their rate increased shortly after the agreements are signed, and how many subsequently enjoy a rate reduction. They responded to this by claiming the information is "commercially sensitive". It is upto the reader of this message board as to how they view interpret that response.
