Brilliant customer service from shop

I have been buying from Shipton shops since the early 70s. I love the service I get from 'my shop' because I have visited once and was impressed. Now I look on-line or in the lovely glossy catalogues that drop through my door regularly, and then phone the shop with all the details to hand. It's always a very friendly, helpful service but of course has the disadvantage of opening hours only. I have time to do this.

I love the Celtic style jewellery, silver when I first started buying and now gold but in much reduced designs. Such a shame about this but Shipton's has had to change with the times. I received a Celtic design ring earlier this week. It fits well, free ring sizer on request, and the design detail is amazing. An all day, every day ring for me.

The repair shop at Shiptons has done lots of work for me over the years as I now have to have a 24/7 approach to jewellery wearing, through arthritis. This is also accessed through my shop. It's usually fairly quick and I always receive a verbal quote before they do the job. This is a bit pointless really because I wouldn't have asked for a repair if I wanted the piece to lie in a drawer forever. I love all my jewellery too much for that.
