Fun Product, Terrible Shipping

I ordered my first Gemify and it was shipped from China, so it took about 6 weeks to arrive. The customer service was apologetic about it taking so long. I enjoyed doing the project very much. It is relaxing & the product is well made. I ordered a second one, however, this time before I ordered I asked them if they had that particular item in stock IN THE U.S. because I didn't want to wait that long again. They assured me they had it. But after ordering, I received tracking info from China...still waiting after several weeks. I won't be ordering from them again. I simply wanted them to be honest so I could manage my expectations.

Disgusting

This company has completely messed me around and is entirely unprofessional. I have never left a bad review online before as I work in customer service myself and know that issues arise and mistakes are made - we are all human! however this has got ridiculous and as Gemify have decided to no longer respond to emails I'm resorting to this.

1) On the Gemify website it states you can cancel an order within 24 hours for a full refund. I cancelled my order in less than 12 hours. Having not heard back for a few days I contacted again to be told that the order had in fact been processed so I would now need to wait until it arrived and return it for my refund.

2) I placed the order in March and received it in late June - which I fully understand as the pandemic has caused issues here - though I ordered things around the same time from other countries that arrived in under 2 months so I am skeptical that it had in fact been shipped when I complained at the beginning of April as I had cancelled the order and was told I couldn't as it had been shipped.

3) I was offered a partial refund and told that if I returned the item for a refund that I am liable for the shipping costs - I cancelled it within 24 hours so should never have been sent to me. YOUR mistake not mine, so why am I being punished with the return shipping cost???

4) When the order finally arrived the gems were completely wrong for the picture. Again I understand these things happen, but this was very frustrating. As dealings with your company had been slow and usually unhelpful (generic copy and paste answers that usually didn't answer my questions) I sent pictures of what had arrived with an itemized list of the gems I had (including amount and colours) and sent a pictures of the key to show the colours I should have received (though nowhere in the information you send does it tell me how many I should have). And you responded promptly and said you would send the correct ones straight away.

5) When the new gems arrived you only sent a small pack of each of the correct colours - not even enough to do a quarter of the picture. This is a product you are selling, I sent a full list and pictures of the gems I had so you should have known exactly the amount of each I required.

6) I emailed about the final issue on 17th August and have heard nothing.

This company does not follow it's own T&C's, does not rectify the issues raised and treats customers appallingly - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND - HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Poor Quality, Even Worse Customer Service

I bought a ring for my wife on our anniversary last year. About 8 months later a stone went missing. She has been ill and is just about bed ridden so she wasn't rough on the ring. I emailed care.gemify and mailed the ring in for repair. USPS says the ring was delivered one month ago. I've made multiple emails to the same address as original contact with customer service. I've received no reply. We are very disappointed. If and when the ring is repaired (at our expense) and returned we will still have a sour experience from this company and will never do business with them again.

The Right One!!

This is the first time I bought item from Gemify. The website allowed me to customize my lovely Cinderella ring and the price was affordable. I made the combination, choose a metal to 14K white gold with pink sapphire and 2 lovely diamonds. It is very good that they had discount coupon during the season. So I got this gift for myself and planning to find a bracelet for my sister in this Febuary which I think Gemify should be my first choice.

I was very surprised that there are a few reviews of Gemify's products and not a lot of people exprerienced buying jewelry from Gemify eventhough this is a good place to find the right thing for yourself and your beloved one.

The ring I ordered was nice and the gems are very pretty. At first I had a problem with my paypal and the customer service staff helped me nicely. They called me to check if it was ok many times. I can feel their caring in this process.

I rated this good because of their quality and caring. The website looks nice and clean and the items are not as expensive as it looks!

I just received my engagement ring from gemify and I love it! I really love how you could customize the ring and way you want. We had a little bit of a wait though because they told us that it didn't meet their quality inspection. They had to send it back to the workshop. We ordered February 2nd and we got it March 14th. Overall I'm very happy!

Another customer in weddingbee forum had this issue with GEMIFY. She filed a claim through Paypal and won the dispute, I'm waiting for my bank's final decision regarding this as I used my debitcard to make payment. I should have used paypal if I had one.

BTW, the original post by this customer is here. I contacted her via this forum and tried to understand the whole story. I think it was my fault choosing this merchandiser, anyway try to amend this mistake now.

Yes I tried all possible ways to contact them, emails or livechat or calls without definitive answers.

Order Inquiry via Emails - Only mine sent, nothing came back

Order Inquiry via livechat - Provided irrelevant answers to my questions, kept saying order is being processed, that was it

Order Inquiry via telephone - Sorry, calls were directed to voice mail box

Based on my experience so far, there's almost ZERO possibility for me being a happy customer. I wish I never dealt with them in the first place.

I am also waiting. They sent me an email today saying the item has shipped with a tracking number. When I asked about the store closing, they said it was to upgrade their site - of course their site says the business is closing due to financial issues.
