I ordered dining room furniture (dining table and 6 chairs, 2 x sideboards, 2 x lamp tables and a coffee table) on 5th October 2020 and was given a delivery date of 11th Jan 2021. Shortly before this date we sold our existing furniture to make room for the new furniture. I bought two x2 Trento Lamps for our bedroom - when they arrived they were far bigger than we had anticipated. It is not easy to find their returns policy on their website and it took 30 minutes of waiting on their telephone helpline! I was able to arrange a return at a cost of £30 plus the £12.99 for delivery ... this mistake cost me £43.00!! Almost the cost of one lamp. I took delivery of two recliners and a two seater sofa costing £2119.96 on 20th January 2020 but it wasn’t long before the seats had lost all resilience, were sagging and were very uncomfortable! Endless tries to contact Customer Services with no avail until I wrote a poor review and they soon contacted me. Ordered and paid for goods in full in October with a first available delivery date of 5/2/21. That was fine. However on 29/01/21 a week before scheduled delivery get an email to say sorry they can’t make the delivery go to link to rearrange a delivery time I was assuming days but no first available date is 14 weeks later in MAY. Got a bed and 2 side tables delivered on 23rd if this month. Called them to do a price match as the prices fell by £87 , asked their customer service for a price match today. They refused stating that I should have requested for a price match before delivery even though they reduced the prices before delivering the furniture. I ordered an "in stock" item in September and have been waiting over six weeks. The item has been delayed three times now (all of which I had to call up to find out) and I have just been told today (after I called up - again) that it will probably be another two to three weeks. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. We’ve waited 11 weeks for delivery of our bedroom furniture and have just found out a week before delivery that our bedroom furniture will not be delivered until 30th November - another 10 weeks away meaning we would have waited a total of 21 weeks. We’ve been living out of cardboard boxes and bin bags waiting 11 weeks for this delivery only to find it is going to take another 10 weeks. Absolutely disgraceful. Waited 5 weeks for my order to be delivered only to be told there will be a delay for at least another 2 months. Tried calling their customer service was impossible to get through. Eventually promised a refund and that was more then 2 weeks Go and still no sign of my money being returned. They too offered me a gift voucher of £120 for me to remove my review on their company. Atrocious service top to bottom. I previously wrote a review of oak furniture land, how I had been waiting for 8 weeks for the delivery of a replacement table and how awful every aspect of dealing with this company has been. I was contacted by the company and refunded money to compensate for the endless waiting time in exchange for amending my review, I removed the review with the understanding that my table would arrive on the delivery date agreed. We took delivery of our dining table and chairs, which is just part of our order, on the 4th June. Unfortunately although the chairs are labelled correctly on the boxes as wave back chairs which is what we ordered the boxes actually had cross back chairs inside. Purchasing from this company is a gamble. Their drivers will not let you check the goods after delivery and if it transpires that they are damaged (as was the case for us) then their Customer Service team insist on sending someone out to repair the damaged items rather than replace them… Read Full Review

We ordered several items online, but still went to a store after ordering just to be sure of what we were getting. When the items arrived the delivery guys placed the boxes into the rooms we instructed them to. It took a while to unpack as they were packed so well. I had to take a lot of rubbish to the tip, too! on buying from oak furniture land beware if you have any problems their after sales service is rubbish. They send someone from homeserve to have a look and make the decision that goes to oak furniture land. you cannot discuss it with any one there is no manager you can talk. We bought dinning room suite which is only 9 months old and 2 chairs have bad grain in them and they are roughing up and catching in your clothes.
