We ordered in store 3 pieces of furniture at a cost of £1500 , we even paid extra for a bespoke service, being told in store don't worry the deliverymen will get it in anywhere and any room for you for a cost of £49.99 ... from ordering we have waited 4 weeks for delivery , today was meant to be the delivery day . the drivers arrived and looked in our home and said it wont fit , they had a template with them of the biggest bit or furniture and showed us and tried to see if there was a way they could fit it in , it didn't and wouldn't, so they rang oak furniture land and let them know it was a failed delivery and we had pay fees based on whats happened , we explained to oak furniture land that we wasn't told anything about possible cancellation fees etc and there were 100 % awful to us and said basically tough and we would be charged .

we are disgusted with oak furniture warehouse and there store and call center staff and will never offer from or recommend them to anybody ever, we will be shouting from the roof top how poor oak furniture land are . No doubt we will see them on watchdog or similar if we don't contact them first to tell them of our awful ordeal , we have no bedroom furniture and our house is turned upside down and we have been maliciously charged fees we didn't agree too or was told about . .

update : i have just had the misfortune to speak to a person called will at oak furniture warehouse who told me we would be charged £160.54 as a result of sending the items back because they wouldn't fit in our rooms . As in store we had signed a piece of paper and id had ample time to have read the terms and conditions that were given to us at the time of ordering and in a later email , i explained how we had signed whatever we was signing as we thought it had something to do with the card payment we had made for the furniture and for no other reason, and that nothing was explained in store and that the sales woman in the Sutton in Ash field branch , didn't explain anything to us, and didn't make us aware that was we was signing was in anyway binding or important and that we should read anything . we are truly appalled by how the sales staff and customer service staff and oak furniture land as a company has treated us .

please don't sign anything in a store and fall into a trap like we have, unless everything and i mean everything has been explained to you and to why they are asking you to sign and what your signing for , as they use it against you and have punished us and many others with outrageous cancellation / send back to depot charges . when you call them to speak to them they don't want to listen, have no compassion and do not care .

all we was told in store when we brought £1500 worth of furniture was as your paying 49.99 delivery the delivery guys will get the furniture into any room you want as the furniture is sectional . then when the furniture isn't even unpacked or took off the van, as the drivers say it wont fit in your home oak furniture land take £160 from you and simply say you , signed the terms and conditions, so its your fault ?

oakfurniture land have issued a full refund now . and have said sorry i believe

this was actioned by oak furniture land
