Purchased a 3 seat reclining sofa and a reclining chair in December, delivered before Christmas, going well as we thought.
In the New Year one side of the sofa stopped reclining, registered complaint online as requested on website, got email saying to ring their customer Care-line, after days of trying to get through I sent an email asking someone to ring us!!!! When I finally spoke to someone, they passed details onto Home Serve Furniture Repairs. I was then contacted and a date for someone to come out & look arranged, then came the snow and the appointment was cancelled. 2 weeks later someone came and found the fault, A screw had gone straight through the Mechanics of the Recliner, The sofa was unplugged and we were advised not to use, and the part was ordered to be delivered to ourselves. Part arrived, date arranged, but then a phone call that the person coming had an accident and so appointment cancelled! New Date arranged, person arrived, and the part that had been delivered, still in it's package, was faulty and didn't work!!!! Luckily the Engineer had one in his vehicle! 3 months after initial complaint we have the Sofa & Chair both fully operational. Shop, who were so helpful when selling to us, were not helpful when trying to sort out complaint, told to contact customer services, which was easier said than done.
