DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM MADE.COM unless you want to wait forever, argue to receive your item or your money back. I ordered a right hand side facing corner sofa, paid £2,238.00 and received a LEFT hand side facing sofa instead. They do not assemble so I had to do some heavy lifting and assemble it only to realise that I received a wrong item. After waiting for over 15min to get connected to customer services on made.com chat I was asked to send photos to confirm that the item is in fact not what I had ordered. I received no explanation what happened and was told that the sofa I had ordered is out of stock now. No resolution was given, no alternative was offered and I was told that I need to purchase my own tapes and foils to wrap the massive sofa so that they can arrange a collection (as if arranging a collection was any favour for me). The sofa got delivered on Sunday and I was left tripping over in waiting for collection arranged for Thursday 09:00. I had to shift my entire day and arrange a day off to accommodate. The courier arrived at 09:00 and told me that they have no space for collection...I had to contact made.com multiple times and all they say is that they apologise and they'll come back via email and then completely ignore you! I had to arrange with the courier to come back in the evening to complete the collection as made.com took no responsibility whatsoever. I spoke to customer services once again and asked for this to be escalated to the manager and they promised to offer a compensation via email. Guess what? No one bothered to email! I contacted again and they started blaming the courier company and told me that I can contact them to talk about compensation...Absolutely unprofessional and embarrassing for made.com. They should've offer a compensation and deal with their contractor behind the scenes, instead, they completely denied any accountability. Now that the sofa has been collected they told me that I am supposed to wait up to 10 DAYS FOR MY REFUND!!! So in summary, I waisted the entire week to deal with this, have a back pain from packing the wrong sofa they sent and now I have no sofa and have to wait an additional 10 days for my refund. Save yourself the hassle and order somewhere where a customer is treated with respect...I planned to order many more pieces but after this treatment I don't want to have anything to do with made.com

“bad customer support. large items always delayed.”

I ordered a sofa from these guys and received a dispatch date of 10th November. didn't hear anything from them afterwards. after numerous live chat and e-mails I was informed that they need to wait for logistics to contact them before they contact me back. I never get called back, and each time I contact them its a different person who doesn't take responsibility for the call and just don't get back to you. still without sofa and would definitely not recommend using these guys in the future.

“Constant delays - but run promos advertising instant...”

Do not order with made.com - there delivery lead times are not genuine. They try to get as many sales as possible and you have to wait forever for anything to arrive (if it ever does!) Waited 4 months and counting for a tv stand that was advertised as 4-6 weeks. And during the time where my date kept being pushed back they ran a promo advertising 4 in stock items with immediate dispatch. When I contacted them to query this and to remind them I’m waiting for mine I was told they can re allocate items to existing orders!! How outrageous. Will never order from this site again

“Ordered 2 x Novak teal and grey sideboards on 5th...”

Ordered 2 x Novak teal and grey sideboards on 5th January 2021 with 4-6 week lead time. Various delays on delivery which we accepted, then they offered the same sideboards in the summer sale with 3-4 weeks delivery at £100 cheaper. After 3 contacts through live chat (another experience entirely) they eventually refunded the additional money but said don’t cancel the original order as that still had an August delivery. Next day delivery put back to September then again to November 18th. Then a surprise email on 8th October saying dispatched to courier, who would be in touch shortly. Waited a week or so, contacted Courier who were still waiting for delivery from Made.Com. Then I got a review request asking how the furniture was? Contacted Courier again still waiting on Made. Live chat again and Made said the courier had lost them and they would send a refund. I queried with the courier and they said they have only received one but not the second one, they couldn’t deliver until they have both. I sourced a second one from eBay so emailed Made.com to please change the order from two sideboards to one and deliver the one the courier had in hand. Made.com cancelled the complete order and refunded all the money. I immediately contacted 3 different people through email and live chat, nobody could do anything as the item is now out of stock and no longer available (it’s still at the couriers). I have asked this to be escalated to somebody who can do something about it as I now have one sideboard from eBay but nothing to match from Made.Com and after 3 hours nothing. I will never buy from these again and I recommend that nobody does (unless someone from Made.Com who may be reading this can actually fix this). At the moment they have wasted 11 months of my time, held my money for 11 months, have now completely thrown my sitting room design and colour scheme and left me with one odd sideboard that I purchased from a dealer who got the display one from Made.coms Bradford showroom. Please don’t waste your time, money or energy buy from somewhere else, or expect to be messed around and then never receive your items. Read the negative reviews I’m not the first, so will certainly not be the last.

“Endless delays and appalling deliverylft ”

After several delays they finally arrived and left my sofa in huge unassembled pieces all over the room. Refused to assemble it. how can a premium brand charge that much and not assemble a sofa (and not even warn this)??

Had numerous delays to a sofa and ottoman delivery but found a fantastic Nottingham based small business who do similar and in my opinion superior quality furniture ,so ordered my dalton sofa and large ottoman in Italian cotton velvet arrived in 2 weeks so happy to support a small business customer service from the two people I dealt with was brilliant could not recommend highly enough flownthecoop.co.uk

“Over a year before sofas MiGHT be delivered ”

Long story short , ordered and paid , in full, for two sofas in March 2021 to be delivered in July . Received emails a month or so after to say they were delayed, first to August then September. Checked my account end of august and now it says delivery in December. Spoke to customer services who said delays due to covid , you will get compensation decided when items arrive. Emails are no longer sent about delays you need to keep checking your account. Checked again a short while ago dispatch date now March 2022! Customer services extremely unhelpful so have cancelled order and ordered from a British supplier who will dispatch before Christmas. Reading papers today made.com are increasing prices because of costs of delivery and I wonder if the 12 months plus delivery time for my suites was a way of not delivering them as shipping costs have increased? Despite increased custom they have made a loss this year so I would consider very carefully before you entrust them with large sums of money for very extended periods

I feel your pain I have had the same problem until I found flownthecoop similar products although I think even better and delivered in 2 weeks small business Two people answered all my questions now I have a lovely Italian cotton velvet dalton sofa and large.ottoman cannot recommend them enough and supporting a small business manufacturing in the UK and Europe so none of those ridiculous delivery times a

“AVOID!!”

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I have waited 5 months for items (promised 2 months) and still several not delivered. Now my delivery has been lost in their Supply Chain for the last 4 weeks. No Customer Service and impossible to talk on the phone. I wish I had never spent money with this company.

Disgusting treatment of customers. Refused to refund the full amount after delivering a damaged mirror. No apologies and no explanation from customer service. They will ignore your contact attempts but promptly respond to PayPal / credit card chargebacks. AVOID!

“Computer says no”

Terrible experience - very delayed dispatch with no communication, and compounded by a complete lack of willingness to find an alternative solution. Cannot comment on quality as these have not yet arrived. Two Harlow sofa orders originally placed on 27 June for a new unfurnished flat; the larger chaise sofa with a expected dispatch timeframe of 4-6 weeks (so 24 Aug to 7 Sept), the second 3 seater 10-12 weeks. On 27 August I logged into my Made.com account to discover that the larger sofa had been delayed to 26 October, a further 9 weeks with no warning. Clearly I reached out to Made.com, and 5 days later they finally responded to tell me that I have two choices: (1) live with the very late delivery and maybe there will be some compensation; or (2) cancel my order. From other reviews the compensation is a bit of a joke (I saw one which said £35 for a 6 month delay) - so I tried to suggest an option 3. I could see online that they have other Harlow sofas which have much shorter dispatch times. The only thing is I had purchased my sofas during their flash sales - so I suggested that they transfer the discount from my original order to a new order. And here after 6 days of “trying to work out the best way to help” the computer said no. They were unable or probably unwilling to extend the same discount (£400+) that I had on my original orders onto a replacement order, and the same response came back that I had to either cancel my order or live with the delay. To me that just sounds like needless profiteering. As even if they did extend the discount to me on a shorter dispatch time (still late, but somewhat more bearable), they would I’m sure put my original order back online for sale at the full price and recover that money! Still trying to decide what to do about this order as cancelling will just give them the opportunity to sell the item at full price, and me left with nothing but a sour taste after tying my money up in their bank accounts for the last 10/11 weeks. All in all a disappointing experience - and highly unrecommended unless you have the patience of a saint. Maybe their immediate dispatch items will be more reliable, but I wouldn’t trust the dispatch times stated on their website otherwise.

“Please AVOID!!!”

Please AVOID!!! If I could I would have rated with zero stars. My last 4 items I have ordered has been delivered either broken, damaged or totally wrong item. Order ordered 8th June 2021: First item: £79 - Nadda Set Of Two Round Polyrattan Plant Stands, Black Product code: OACNAD002BLK-UK - has been delivered in few days however both planters were damaged. I have tried to contact Made.com unfortunately as they have no number to call every time when I tried to start the chat on the website I was over 60th in the queue and as I am not able to watch Made.com website for over 30 min to see when is my turn I missed about 2-3 opportunities to talk to someone and then I gave up. Second item of the order: Tambo Sideboard, Walnut & Brass Product code: SDBTAM004WAL-UK - was delivered after about 6-7 weeks and again this has been delivered damaged. Again it took me over a week to communicate to Made.com and what did I get? Either refund and wait another 6-10 weeks for new side board (hoping it will not come damaged again) or £100 refund. I took pointless £100 (pointless as I will not be able to buy anything for this amount on Made.com as I do not need another pair of cushions, therefore my compensation which is a joke will not be used) I end up hiring carpenter to fix the side board for the cost of £200. In the end Made.com side board cost me £699+£200 = £900!!! Third item of this order £1,249: Cory Super King Size Ottoman Storage Bed, Regal Blue Velvet Product code: BEDCOR080VBL-UK - bed has arrived after about 7-8 weeks but it was a different bed I have ordered. They have send me bed without the storage of the cost £900. Now I will be waiting one week till someone will pick up the wrong bed and my refund will take up to 30days!!! or I can wait for replacement another 12 weeks!! What a joke. Made.com is very clever - taking clients money use them to circulate the orders and after 12 weeks when my money are used by Made.com interest free they send me wrong order and my refund will take another 30 days. where is my interest for Made.com using my money. Companies like denelli.com will only ask you to pay deposit and remaining amount you pay upon delivery therefore your money are not misused. Lastl order: £201 - 2x Orlo by Studio Levien Ultimate 12 Piece New Bone China Dinner Set, White One of the bows has been delivered damaged and again I have given up to wait on the website to speak someone. I am very disappointed with the quality of the products and lack of customer service. I have been Made.com customer for many years but I will not be ordering anything anymore. Its clear that they do not have any product control in place and once products come from factories nobody in UK before shipped to customers is checking the quality of the product. I have not been offered any reasonable compensation nor any official apology. Please do not use this company , there is plenty more furniture online shops which provide better quality and customer service. Its a shame I am not able to attach the photos of the damaged products.

been on with this for over 6 months now, horrendous company , poor service, stupid long delays. talked to customer service several times, told me I would be compensated x amount, came to refund me and sent me an email saying they wouldn't. told them to come collect the furniture and refusing to take it back and refund. will have to go down the lines of trading standards. save yourself a headache and stay well clear of this poor company that shouldn't be allowed to trade at all.

This company are appalling … they have staff who are inadequate of the role to support customers and struggle to understand basic sentences. Delivery times keep changing 4/6 week delivery is now 3 months!!!! No management or number to call … and they won’t let you change item for one that’s in stock! Joke joke joke!

Avoid!! I had a chest of drawers delivered that had wonky drawers, broken handle and broken leg. I was told they would replace but I must dismantle and package the unit myself. They took 8 weeks to send the replacement and it took me weeks of emails going backwards and forwards. Considering the unit took 3 hours to build I feel it very unreasonable they made me dismantle and package the old one.

Hello again, some of you might recognize this style of review as i left on trustpilot, and i guarantee you'll see a lot more coming! i want to start by pointing out the unreliability of the company that continuosly blame the supplier in china ( yes China, that's where your lovely crafty pieces come from, a chain supply) for the delays experienced, i have oredered a TV stand in January 2021 and after the dispatch date being delayed several times, precisely in order was April, than June, than August, September and now October 22nd , now no one is really sure when this piece will come! are they assembling each pieces by hand and carefully put it toghether taking their sweet time? i genuinely don't think so, all i get is apologies and apologies and more apologies, and since i bought that piece to go with another one i own i WANT THAT PIECE and what's infuriating is that i'm not being kept up to date in any way, i have to go on the website and find out for myself the delay. customer service transparency is out of the window. if you are a MADE employee be aware that you may see me at the physical shop soon as i am losing the patience now. thanks for nothing.

“5 months to receive a lamp but could be longer! ”

I ordered a lamp back in March and was meant to receive the item last month (3 months later), which I did think was a long time to wait, however was willing to do so as liked the product. Since then I have received 2 updates to say the order will be delayed and I will receive it in July (4 months after placing the order). I spoke to a Live Chat agent after the last delay who confirmed the item should not be delayed further as it is in the shipping phase, however today I log in to my account and the estimated delivery date has now changed to mid-end of August!! The status of my order has also now changed from 'shipping' to 'being made' - how is that even possible? I can't comprehend how it can take 5 months to make a lamp?! I have again had to speak to the company to find out when I will receive my lamp but they can't say for definite and are apparently going to speak to the warehouse to confirm and let me know. I also can't understand how the status of the order can change from 'being shipping' as shown last month to now 'being made?!' I will never ever again order anything from Made.com and would advise you not to believe the 'delivery date' that they give you when purchasing a product on their website.

I would like to update this to review to say my account now says that my lamp will be dispatched at the end of August so apparently I will receive it in September!!! 6 months after I placed the order - LOL!! This is the 5th time the order has been delayed so I think I will be lucky to receive it within the year at this rate! DEFINITELY AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Ordered a sofa on 2nd May and I keep receiving delay notifications! Started using webchat thee times and every time it just cuts off and disappears, I have to start again. Very-very-very poor service!! Will never buy from Made again and definitely do NOT recommend!

“Buy at your own risk ”

So from the beginning, I ordered a set of bedside tables and a matching chest of drawers back in March this year. Order was placed on 6th of March for all items. -Delivery times for chest of drawers given as 4 working days, I paid extra for Saturday delivery. This was £15 in total as I choose Saturday delivery for all items and they were due to be delivered separately. -Delivery times for bedside tables was given as 8-10 weeks, so I should have received it by 15th of May, that’s the latest. So, chest of drawers was delivered on the 12th of March, Friday, not Saturday which I have paid for in advance. And bedside tables were delivered 3 weeks late, 4th of June, Friday again, not Saturday for which I have paid extra. I was contacted by their sales advisor, Gutaj, who actually dared to offer me £15 refund for the delay and for not having my items delivered on the days that I had paid for. I declined and asked for my money back for the delivery as it was late and Saturday delivery which was not done. Having in mind that delivery for bedside tables would have cost me £25, and plus I paid £15 extra for Saturday delivery. Gutaj then offered me £25 money back, price I would have paid for standard delivery for bedside tables. I declined as the £15 that I paid for Saturday delivery was being ignored. I asked for my money back for the delivery price, because it was almost a month late (£25) and for the price that I paid for Saturday delivery which was not done (£15). That’s £40, not much if you ask me, as my total for the order was £861. I believe that I have every right to get the money back for a service which I paid for but I never got, it’s more than fair. I’m now being ignored, so yeah, great customer service! On top of that, the quality of the furniture is not that great either, it’s made from mdf which is a cheap material. The styles are what catches the eye of customers, if anyone is buying for the quality, DON’T as it’s not worth the money if you ask me. For the same price you can buy a set of oak bedside tables and oak chest of drawers. DO NOT BUY FROM MADE.COM! Orders are very late, and you don’t even get what you pay for! Will never be buying from there again, which is a disappointment as I like their furniture styles but customer service if horrible, not worth the hassle!

“Second hand furniture”

An expensive piece of furniture was second hand as it was clear when it was delivered it had been open before (most of the protective wrapping had been removed). The item was damaged in multiple places and now I can't get hold of them to see what to do next. They refuse to provide a telephone number to complain.

“Plant pots from MADE.com”

The brand kept my money for over four months, then decided they no longer wanted to fulfil my order, and refunded with merely an explanation or goodwill gesture. Its now over a month of back and forth and they refuse so much as to offer free postage for my next order. Truly shocking level of service. To be avoided at all costs.
