The furniture and accessories always look lovely on the site but, sadly, everything isn't always as it appears! Be prepared to receive faulty goods, or furniture with missing parts, long delays and poor customer service experiences. I ordered a beautiful wardrobe in November 2021 which I was very excited about. Bang on trend with the rattan look but more expensive than I'd hoped and not arriving anytime soon. Anyway, I loved it so I ordered it and understood the long wait time as that's the thing with Made - it's a bit cheaper (not that much though!) than its high style competitors because the goods are shipped from abroad. However what I didn't expect was for half a wardrobe to arrive and to be given no idea of when the other half will follow! It could be another 6-8 weeks. No compensation offered, no updates given, they just leave you hanging (pun intended). You can't get through to anyone by phone so your only option is to join lengthy queues online via the website to speak to someone who then can't give you any answers. You'll have to do this on repeat many times before you're any closer to a resolution. Don't even attempt to WhatsApp them, no one responds. To summarise, the products look good but on closer inspection the quality is very hit and miss and when they do arrive expect parts to be missing or faulty. (I recently ordered a chest of drawers that was damaged and before that a bed that arrived with legs that didn't fit) Expect to have a draining experience if you have any issues with an order and these are, unfortunately, frequent. I still love the look of their furniture which is why I kept going back but I've decided it's time to shop at companies that offer a higher level of service. Life is too short to waste on this kind of stuff! Go elsewhere, fall in love with furniture somewhere else and be treated better.
