“BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER”

For the first time ever I purchased from WOWCHER Voucher. The Company was HOME & GARDEN and Ffurnitureitalia a new bed and mattress. It was supposed to be in a sale. NEVER again. The worse company ever. First mattress was so soft you just sunk in it. They replaced but I had to pay extra for an upgrade. Within 3 months the base failed and was creaking like made. They replaced that in November. Then the mattress failed again and severe backache is the result every morning. Then the base also failed again worse than the first time. I contacted the company back in February and they stated nothing could be done as it was out of warranty. Apparently they only give 5 months but there is nothing at point of sale and no paper work arrives with the items. Hundreds of emails later they agreed to replace the base and upgrade again for a further payment. They wanted cash on delivery! I refused to do that and again many emails later they agreed payment online. Within a few days I get a phone call saying warranty out of date, they should not have offered replacements and they will do nothing else. I am reporting them to Trading Standards but apparently you go through the CAB these days, so I will be making an appt. It is disgusting that they can get away with a 6 month warranty. So be WARNED this company is HOME GARDEN/FURNITURE ITALIA

“Glass Dining table ”

I have ordered a glass dining table with 6 chairs. was very pleased with the delivery and the customer service. didn't know about this company before so went to read the review and very shocked to find out that others had difficulties with the company. i was going to order a bed and other furnitures as i am moving house but not sure about it now. personally i had a good service from them and the delivery was prompt though some screws were missing but got more sent out after making two phone calls.

“Terrible Service, ordered double bed.”

Having previously ordered an item from this company I didn't think I would have any problems as previous order turned up when promised even though they sent the wrong mattress for my daughters bed. On the day delivery was expected, my husband dismantled our old bed and it was taken away by a charity shop, I decided to chase up my order only to be told that it would not be coming until the following day. After explaining to them that I had only recently had major surgery they said that they would try to sort something out, when they called back they apologised for not being able to do anything but expect me to be able to sleep on their apologies and empty promises.

“What a Shambles - STILL waiting!”

I had a dinner party coming up..... More guests than I had chairs for... quite specific chairs.. I eventually found the site on line, .. looked like they actually had matching Chairs..... Relief!!..; (or so I thought!).. ordered 2, and paid via paypal immediately....... So far so good!... I was astonished to find I had a next day delivery slot scheduled,... wow.. Great Customer service I thought.. RESULT! Then it started.... The chairs delivered had bases that didn't match the backs...... 1st let down, I then spent 3 hours trying to actually get someone on the phone to talk to.... suprise suprise, the only way to talk to anyone was via hitting the "Sales" option!!!... I eventually managed to get someone on the phone, ... they apologised profusely... and scheduled another delivery .. (albeit too late for the dinner party, what the hell, an extra 2 dining chairs are always handy!) 2nd let down - delivery people turned up... and lo and behold..... one would expect 2 chairs?!.... but NO.. this time NOTHING delivered!... not loaded onto the truck! following morning yet another 2 hours trying to sort out a delivery and "Exchange" as they term it.. (I didn't want to exchange anything, I just wanted what I paid for!) finally managed to arrange a time for the following Friday!,,, guess what!.... 3rd let down - no one turned up!Yet more time on the phone!... 4th delivery arranged...... yes you guessed it.. 4th let down.... chairs arrived,.... took old ones away, ... this time, bases fit the backs... but the backs are smaller than the originals!(3 inches shorter!..you couldn't make this up!!!). I tried calling the delivery guys back to return the original backs, that would have fitted the new bases,.. but .. "sorry we cant come back" was the reply!...... Now ..... just off the phone yet again... and you guessed it... "Exchange" again!... All I want is what I paid for !" I'll let you know how delivery number 5 goes!!!!! but please, I am sure the kit is good, however... try not to get anything that may come in different pieces!

“great chairs, poor company ”

Ordered some chairs from this company because they said they were in stock and one day delivery. They took the money, we didn't hear from them for the first week without lack of trying to contact them ourselves.after another week they said they would be delivered on the Saturday we explained we wanted them for dinner on Easter Sunday, delivery date passed we heard nothing, following week we finally received them, one week after Easter! They were full of excuses and lies, would not order from them again, however the chairs are great but are sold by many sellers and are not the cheapest here we found.

“POOR, POOR, POOR, !!!”

Ordered extendible glass dining table and 6 chairs. Cost £500.00 Delivered within seven days so thought that was reasonable. A phone call from the carrier company gave me just ten minutes notice before delivery. (Lucky I was in)! Only wanted to know if I have got the cash ready! Box containing table was severely damaged and taped up and looked like it may have been sent out previously to someone else and returned. Not impressed, but my wife was getting excited about her new table and chairs so we accepted it. Upon assembly I was surprised and somewhat disappointed with the quality. The legs of the table did not fit properly and there were some screws missing. Okay, I have a box of screws somewhere .. Finally get legs on, great. Turn table right way up and .. oh no. It is a table with extendible bits at both ends. One end fits okay but the other end does not and leaves a gap. I am now in no doubt this table has been return before by another customer somewhere and I would have had no hesitation at this point in returning this table but she who must be obeyed said to keep it and put up with it. Okay, table assembled I then went to get the box with the chairs in. It is now I discover that the wrong chairs have been sent. We specifically ordered type G650 chairs but received type G601. Again we have kept them but really annoying to have had so many issues with one simple order. The only thing they got right was the colour! Not surprising we will not be ordering from this company again and would not recommend them to anyone.

“Unacceptable quality of product and customer care”

I purchased an extendable glass table with 8 chairs, a coffee table and a Bar table with 2 stools for £1,235.00 in September 2012. Very quickly all the Tables got scratches showing the poor quality of the glass in use. On Friday 14th of February leaning slightly back the backrest collapsed / the fixing gave way showing the poor manufacture of the chairs. I emailed Furniture Italia queering the quality and warranty of the product, after waiting for a response for several days I called them and was told that the warranty is only 1 year. Considering the chair is not in daily use as I travel a lot, if it would have been in permanent use it would collapsed within the warranty of 12 months. Anyway; Wednesday 19th of February I ordered 2 additional sets of 2 chairs to have some spares as so obviously the product quality is only made to outlast the warranty phase and I don’t want to have to replace the set in less than 18 months of purchase. After I ordered the chairs I sent an email to Furniture Italia if they sell a replacement backrest to which I also so far didn't get an answer. Shortly after I ordered now ordered Id was told that the products dimensions have changed making me holding the order until I know more about how much they changed. The product is far too expensive for its quality and life cycle and the support is totally unsatisfying. I did write a review on their website but unsurprisingly only add good reviews onto their website or reviews that put them in a positive light. Now on the 5th of March I am still awaiting an update on how much they changed, seem they don’t have this information at hand and need to unpack one to take the measurements Once I look to replace any items I definitely will NOT use any products of this manufacturer or the company representing them again.
