Awful Company To Deal With, Poor Quality Goods
I would advise anyone to steer well clear of this company. Their attitude to customer service is by far the worst I have ever experienced, and the quality of the goods were of a poor standard.
I ordered 7 items of furniture, coming to a total of over £1,700 and was told there was a lead time of up to 3 weeks for delivery. The delivery actually took over thirteen weeks!
I phoned on numerous occasions during this time for updates, but was simply told that I would get them, when I got them. Never any apologies!
When I eventually received the furniture, one of the items was missing, one of the items was damaged, and the delivery people dragged the boxes containing the furniture through my house, ruining my brand new carpets. I had to have my floors professionally cleaned afterwards to get the marks out.
When I phoned the company to complain about these issues, I got the following responses -
Regarding the missing item - They couldn't tell me when it would be in, and would just refund my money. I found this entirely unhelpful after having waited 13 weeks already.
Regarding the damage to my carpets - I was told that it was perfectly understandable that the boxes would be dirty, as they've been sitting in a warehouse for weeks, and that I should have expected it.
Regarding the damaged item - I eventually received a replacement after a further 10 weeks of waiting (a total of 23 weeks) which is ridiculous!
I have received no apology throughout this entire episode, in fact all I’ve had is unhelpful and rude staff.
One of the people I spoke to when I complained, claimed to be the manager, but I don't believe this to be true, as there is no way someone with such poor customer service skills as his, could ever be in charge of any business.
There wasn't even a silver lining to the cloud, as the quality of the goods was poor as well
I will never deal with this company again, and would advise anyone else to read the many reviews from people who have had a similar experience with this company.
I rarely write reviews, but my experience with these people has been so bad, I thought it best if others know what they would be letting themselves in for.

Awful Awful Delivery Service, Not Worth The Hassle
Terrible delivery service, please do not order from this company, I ordered 2 items of furniture from them and as I live in "the country" (large town just outside Glasgow) they would only deliver to the pavement outside my property. The girl on the phone made it sound like I was ridiculous expecting the delivery company to deliver to my flat, I think its ridiculous that they expect me to pay £20 delivery to have the items dumped on the pavement outside my flat! They are also threatening to charge delivery even though they did not deliver. Nice professional website but do not be fooled by the prices. Use another company, be warned.
Excellent Company To Deal With!
I recently ordered a Mon Chique Tall Bookcase from the website.
I found the company most helpful when I rang re delivery, which was exactly as promised and the delivery drivers were very efficient and helpful. The quality of the bookcase is superb and extremely good value for money.
I would not hesitate to order any more furniture from Furniture Point and would recommend the company to anyone.

I ordered two items of furniture, one a tall bookcase, one a set of drawers. I paid. Then I waited...for six weeks. I spoke to them on the phone a number of times, customer service was friendly but advised me incorrectly a number of times. Eventually I asked to be put through to the billing section, as the boss deals with the money side. He was totally unwilling to listen and told me to speak to customer services, then put the phone down. I rang back and told him not to be so rude,then terminated the call before he was able to. In the meantime I spoke to the warehouse who told me the bookcase had arrived and would be delivered during the week. Nothing came. I rang customer services who said it had been sent for delivery, I asked for the delivering agents details and spoke to them. They had nothing. I rang customer services who contacted the warehouse, I asked them to ring me back, they didn't. I rang to be told the bad news was there was a medium bookcase, and the large one didn't exist. I was very annoyed and asked her why during the six weeks of phone calls no-one had bothered to tell me this, and why was my money taken for an item I was never going to receive. She apologised. I asked to be put through to the billing department for a refund, I was told that company policy was it could take a number of weeks for a refund. In the meantime the set of drawers arrived, admittedly a nice piece of furniture, but the dimensions had been incorrectly listed, and hence it would not fit the space, width having been described as height.I contacted the company and told them to tell the delivery firm to collect it, which they did the next day. I again contacted the firm, telling them what had happened, they did not correct the listing, and would not refund my money. I spoke to Citizens Advice, who said I needed to pay for a Special Delivery letter as the company would be able to say they had not had many emails and calls from me and were unaware. I did this. I phoned the billing department and spoke to the very very rude and arrogant man who is the owner, and told him to expect a Special Delivery letter and that I wanted my money refunded on receipt. Two days later I got it. Meanwhile it caused distress, anxiety, I couldn't order other furniture, and having been stung I was concerned about using an online commpany again. I did, spoke to a woman in US, and about 4 days later a really good set of drawers arrived, no fuss whatsoever. DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE EXCEPTIONALLY POOR.
