The second Whale product I've had that has failed in what I consider an unacceptably short time. It wasn't abused during its short life, and now all it does in blow fuses without any pumping effect at all. First guess is that the seal(s) have gone and the electrical component of the pump is shorting out; I'm aware that seals drying out is a problem for some pumps, but after less that 2 years of use?! If I have any choice in the matter, I think I'll avoid Whale products in the future.
