This has been the worst experience ever when buying plants online. The plant was small, dead on arrival and most of the little branches completely broken. On top of that there was no availability for return or complaints.

Moneymaker Plant Plugs

I ordered these in the best of faith, what a joke..... almost dead, elongated spindly seedlings arrived, by a country mile the worst plug plants I have ever received. Do not buy from this site, they will not even acknowledge you fter you try to contact them. Probably the biggest rip off I have ever ordered by post.

Dead Plants And Dreadful Customer Service

What an awful company to deal with. I received my strawberry collection in the post and half of them were dead sticks. I tried to contact the company by e mail and by phone, leaving a number to call back. I have now made 5 attempts to speak to someone and e mailed countless times. Absolutely no response from them!

I would definitely never, never deal with the company again and would advise anyone looking at their website to look elsewhere!

Shortages In Orders Sent

I ordered and paid for 14 sweet corn plants,when the order was finally sent there were only 6. I have several communications ignored so far so I guess you get less than half the quantities that you order and pay for ! ! I will definitely shop elsewhere in future,.

Appalling Customer Service

The plants that I've ordered in the past have all been well packaged, arrived in a timely fashion and in good condition, so no complaints there... However, if you have a problem with your order, then forget about it!

Plantsbypost.com have an excellent website, and the order process is smooth and easy and the plants themselves are not bad at all, but if your order doesn't arrive, arrives wrong or incomplete or any other of a million problems an online purchaser could face, then you have a real problem. They are absolutely dreadful at answering the "contact us" form on their website, even after several days and follow up submissions. They have a phone number, but that is only an unmanned anwerphone, so is no better than sending emails that never get answered.

I've had a problem with an order and I just can't get an answer from them. Their answerphone only service and no reply contact us form, gives the impression that they either get too many complaints to dedicate enough staff to clear up customer service problems, or they just don't care.

Either way, it lets their service down so badly, that I can only give them a 1 star rating, and would not recommend them.

Poor Plants - Terrible Service

Ordered 6 tomato plug plants at an expensive £7.98 incl postage. They arrived the day after dispatch by the seller and the condition of the plants was very poor. They were droopy, yellow leaved and had black blotches all over them. They were well packaged but the plants looked as though they had not seen the light of day for days or weeks, despite being in the mail for only one day.

I emailed to complain and even attached photos of the plants and requested a refund. I received no reply. My follow up email was also ignored by this company. Very disappointing experience.

Follow-up comment by guineapig 22/7/2012. Having now received my credit card statement I find that the company has refunded my money in full. They just did not bother to tell me or respond to my emails. I felt I should give them credit for this at least.
