I ordered a chimenea on 17th July. There is nothing on the website to indicate that you will face an extensive delay in receiving your goods. Despite numerous emails (often ignored) and phone calls (you can sometimes speak to a guy in the evenings) I am still waiting. I am heartily fed up with listening to promises about when the chimenea will arrive and I have asked for my money back. I am not holding my breath.

***********PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU ORDER 100% HONEST REVIEW************* I have been after a rattan corner sofa looked at the website 100% satisfaction you can call them from 9am up to 9pm great I thought looks like a good company! Ordered my item £540 3-21 day delivery I had recently ordered this sofa elsewhere and was told no stock availability from the manufacturer (YES I SHOULD HAVE CONTACTED THEM BEFORE I ORDERED TO CHECK STOCK WEBSITE SAID IN STOCK) so I thought I would give them a call to confirm they had stock....I phoned them every day and multiple emails with no answer contacted Paypal (lucky I payed using them) they tried to contact them no answer!.....on the 20th day (Friday) they answered '''HAPPY DAYS'' I thought great I would get an answer to be told "they would look into to it!"....Have you got stock? "aaaaaah We will contact you if not we will refund you"...when will you come back to me..aaaaah...will it be Monday?..aaaah...OK ENOUGH IS ENOUGH you will contact me by Tuesday..aaaah "Yes"..if not I will contact Paypal (lucky I payed with them bit of pressure)..."No need to do that sir we will refund you" and the excuse for the poor service was a bereavement within the family...seriously why do I want to know!.. Tuesday came and guess what NO CONTACT NO GOODS emailed them again just got an email saying "Hi We are very sorry but we will be issuing a full refund. Apologies for any inconvenience caused"....SERIOUSLY £540 of my money 23 days of stress and that's the best you can do!... 0% satisfaction from this company! STILL NO REFUND 25th day contacted Paypal they can sort it! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME MONEY...LIFE'S TO SHORT GO ELSE WHERE!

I am not someone who usually writes reviews but I feel I would like to share my experince with JL plants. Having been let down by 2 suppilers for a rattan garden set that I needed for my sons 18th garden party I contacted JL plants to see if they could get an order sent out to me by the Saturday on the off chance. I went ahead and placed the order. Then after placing the order I came accross this review page and became very concerned and anxious about my order so I contacted JL plants and they promised that my order would be with me in in time for my sons party (3 days after placing the order) true to there word my furniture set arrived with a phone call prior to delivery. I am so happy with the quality and value for money for this set with many compliments from the guests. Thanks again.

Very pleased with the rattan furniture set. It arrived on the day expected and the driver even helped me carry it around the back of the house to the garden. First class. Will be recommending to friends and family for sure.

Ordered artificial grass, great quality and delivered on time. Quite suprised by some of the negative reviews on here!! Would use again!

Non delivery of chiminea order value £150 14/7/15 Was ordered as a b'day gift! Have instructed to process refund but JL not taking calls or answering emails. Told some time ago problems due to family bereavement but having read reviews have very little confidence in this company. My order should not have been processed if JL cannot deliver. Very poor hence zero stars from me!

Ordered 2 planters on 6th July 2015.....still not arrived!!! We have left numerous mails and phone calls but no response. I think this is a bad website.Our money has been taken but we havnt had any goods so it looks like we are going to go to Trading Standards and any other official body that can deal with them. DO NOT BUY from JL PLANTS This isnt just bad customer care its a rip off!!!

Having done a bit of research into this company it looks like it's one bloke (Joe Lomax = JL) who runs it in his spare time. No wonder the customer service is non-existent. I doubt there will be any after sales support should there be any issues if the item actually turned up.

Henley Hardwood round table & 6 chairs ordered 4th July. Told they were in stock and then became concerned when nothing arrived. Read the awful comments, & managed to make phone contact & recvd apology. Told of backlog due to family bereavement, and assurances my order would be honoured. Stayed patient, and sure enough the delivery happened when promised 22nd July through local courier. Very pleased, and will use again.

Buyer beware!!! this company is a scheme bought a set 6 weeks ago after ringing and promised delivery on 2 occasions nothing as turned up and no emails or anything to explain why it as not been delivered now in dispute with PayPal to get a refund what a waste if time summer will be over by the time I get my money back people like this should be prosecuted

Quick at taking order and money then you never receive anything! Just emails saying will be delivered next week and cant get through to phone do not use!!!

Fancy website and very quick at taking order and payment. Still waiting for delivery 8 weeks later with no explanation. Very difficult to get to speak to anyone. Phone diverts to a mobile answer service. On the two occasions I managed to speak to anyone still no explanation and still no delivery. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

A complete lack of communication despite multiple emails sent, 16 days after payment being taken no goods have arrived and there is no way of contacting them as their answerphone tells you to do everything by email to which they do not respond, they bring shame to online selling!!

I ordered 18 Buxus Sempervirens and 2 Buxus Sempervirens spirals and paid extra for Saturday delivery. I was worried about the time the plants would arrive as I had paid for a landscaper on the Saturday and was worried they wouldn't turn up until the afternoon but they were delivered by 10 am and everything was as advertised. Overall I couldn't fault the service I received and I would highly recommend the company and use them again.

After reading bad reviews I was sceptical at ordering from jlplantsonline but as they appear to be the cheapest around I went ahead with my order! My garden furniture arrived well within the time scale stated and is of excellent quality. Makes my garden complete.

Ordered 25th June and still no goods, when I ring I just get an answerphone and when I email I still have no ETA or refund. I would avoid this company, there are plenty of others out there so buyer beware!

I ordered the cube furniture set on a Sunday and received it the following day. It was a bit fiddly to put together but I'm a girl not very DIY minded. I could not be more pleased. It looks great and much more expensive than what we paid for it. Excellent quality for the price - my mum is ordering the same set. I would definately recommend!

Having read the previous comments I was dubious about placing an order but I decided to go ahead nevertheless. My order arrived within 3 days even though it states upto 10 working days. I am very pleased with my purchase and I would highly reccomend. My daughter will be ordering the exact furniture set to enjoy this lovely weather.

Paid for a £150 for Chiminea and cover for a birthday present on 14/7/15 and still no sign of delivery. Had email informing of family bereavement but no responses to subsequent email and no one answering phone. Have asked for full refund without further delay. Having read reviews from other customers I have very little confidence in this company. Will update this review if they come up with the goods!
