I purchased a MIele hoover on 14/06/12 and despite seeing that the item was 'in stock' with 'Free Next-Day Delivery' I never received my item. On 28/06/12 I contacted Homegoods and was told that no item was sent to me and my order which I had paid for had not even been processed.

After requesting a full and immediate refund back to my PayPal account nothing was received. I have since initiated a claim via PayPal and I would at least be able to recover my money within 14 days which is much faster than receiving anything from Homegoods!

Avoid this online retailer as they are cheaper for a reason, they don't have any stock and they don't even bother processing your order but they will take your money immediately!!!

Another poor online retailer that seems to be one of a growing majority with phantom stock levels and poor service! Pay the extra elsewhere and at least receive your item in good time and eventually this type of retailer will realise that poor service equals no sales!!
