“poor service ”

★☆☆☆☆

written by winstow on 08/07/2016

bought a mower from gardenlines guaranteed for a year,no problems there. After a couple of uses mower broke and I managed to fix it Shortly afterwards it broke again and Webb and gardenlines would look at it only if I emptied it of all fluids parceled it up and sent it back to them I was unable to do this as mower is very heavy and I'm quite elderly I was passed back and forth between Webb and gardenlines and in the end I gave up and had it fixed at my own expense and was told it had a design fault.

“McCulloch petrol lawn mower”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Sutherlandhc395 on 01/04/2016

Purchased this less than a year ago and is still officially under warranty. Ive had nothing but problems from day one, it has never started well takes four or five attempts of arm knackering effort. Eventually it began to keep stalling so I had had enough by now so contacted Gardenlines customer service and spoke to a lady who, very politely waffled on and on (couldn't get a word in) about petrol mowers and that I would have to take it to a nominated repairer that was about 30 mile round trip. Bearing in mind if they thought it was something I had done I would have to pay for repair. I would have to pick it up so in total that would be 60 mile journey. I need up taking it to a local mower repair only 3 miles away for repair. But here I am now in springtime wanting to mow my garden for the first time and the bloomin thing won't start it's totally dead! Pile of rubbish that cost me almost £300 I just wish I had purchased from a reputable retailer.

Bought a mcculogh petrol strimmer for 90 pounds only last couple of months they will not give refund you have to take it to a local shop to fix so I would recommend to buy from somewhere else

“McCulloch Recycling Lawnmower”

★☆☆☆☆

written by marygreen3 on 18/08/2015

I cannot review the product sadly as it never arrived in the next-day-delivery service promise. This meant I had to go out and purchase another machine from a local dealer. Numerous phone calls to the courier were fruitless. I was told 'the driver ran out of time'. Not good for Gardenline customers and seriously lets them down.

“WASTE OF TIME”

★☆☆☆☆

written by dissapointed01245 on 03/01/2015

Purchased chainsaw with next day delivery to use that evening, no contact not even a confirmation email from the seller. i contacted them the following day to confirm delivery but was told item out of stock ! NOT HAPPY had to go to screwfix and pay the extra £10 which i should have done in the first place. This ain't rocket science they should know if they have the item stocked in warehouse when advertising it for sale on website

“Disgraceful service and lack of care”

★☆☆☆☆

written by SolomonStrong on 06/12/2014

Unable to supply the leaf blower ordered, they recommended a more expensive product. It arrived damaged, very badly packed, literally spilling out of the packaging having been crammed into the wrong box. there were no instructions/warranty or oil as ordered. I was so shocked I had to take photographs. It looked like a second hand machine- and if I had bought it from ebay it might have been acceptable. I returned the product and was promised a refund within 24 hours which has not yet materialised. I am taking this up directly with my credit card company. Most importantly, at no point has anyone from the company seemed surprised- nor apologised- for such unacceptable service. There seem to be a lot of good reviews out there and my experience is a long way from good- frankly its been appalling and I would stay well away from them.

“Poor chain”

★☆☆☆☆

written by susannewhitley on 19/07/2014

The service was good and the mower was received 2 days later. The mower was purchased to finish after tractor lawn mower ride on used to cut grass to almost 3/4 inch. The mower was set up and chain adjusted as instructed. Although the cutting was satisfactory the chain is clearly not up to the job. After one strip cut the chain broke and was repaired. After a further two cuts the chain broke again and the joining link lost and took some finding. Before I made the purchase I discussed the use with the supplier who agreed it would be suitable for finishing. Husband is a farmer with lots of agricultural machinery so when he tells me the chain is rubbish he knows what he is talking about. We have left a message for the supplier to telephone us and we will update this review in due course.

ORDERED ITEM (£300) FOR 'NEXT DAY DELIVERY'. iT DID ARRIVE NEXT DAY LATE PM - THANK YOU. IN THIS DAY AND AGE IT IS SURELY THE NORM TO INFORM THE CUSTOMER OF TWO IMPORTANT STAGES IN THE DELIVERY OF AN ITEM - 1. ITEM (ACTUALLY)DISPATCHED AND TIME ITEM WAS DISPATCHED 2. THE DELIVERY COURIER WITH A TRACKING NUMBER THIS CAN BE DONE MANUALLY IN SMALL FIRMS - NOT NEEDING THE IT TECK TO INTERLINK WITH DELIVERY COMPANIES. NO COMPANY SELLING 'ONLINE' TODAY SHOULD REQUIRE A CUSTOMER TO BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR 12 HOURS OR MORE TO RECEIVE A PURCHASED ITEM THIS IS NOT A WINDOW OF ABOUT AN HOUR ROCKET SCIENCE MANY DELIVERY COURIERS CAN TEXT

Hi, i put the appliance at the end of my hose, then added a short length from it to the spray for ease of access when needing to refill with fertilizer: this also kept the appliance level and on ground level. hope this helps.
