We used this company to install a water fountain in our new garden. After 18 months we experienced discolouration of the stainless steel and asked them to inspect. They blamed the maintenance company for over chlorinating the water. The maintenance company denied this. As non-experts we sought their assistance to resolve. They referred us to a firm of independent installers who concurred with the maintenance company and advised that if the correct grade of stainless steel (316) had been fitted it should not stain. The maintenance company also added that there was staining in areas that had no contact with water / chemicals. We reverted to Fountains Direct with this information to ask for their observations and they simply reiterated their view that it was the maintenance company's fault even though they had fitted 304 grade stainless steel. When we pressed further for a meeting onsite they sent us an email suggesting that all communication should be through our main contractor and that we were outside the 12 month warranty period.

Absolutely terrible customer service and not a company that is to be trusted or expected to support their products after purchase.
