This is a review for the Ecostrad Veesmart radiator as well as for Electric radiators direct (who trade as Go home direct).
Unfortunately some of the products are poorly designed. The Ecostrad VeeSmart Designer radiator is smart in name only. Mine worked for a couple of days then packed in. They tried to troubleshoot but could not get the unit working. Part of the issue is that it relies on bluetooth technology meaning any updates to the firmware are a very cumbersome process. If it had been a WiFI radiator it would have been so much easier to diagnose faults and update when things go wrong.
I ended up having to return the unit and order a replacement. The replacement was also faulty. I had to pay an electrician TWICE to mount and install these radiators and it was all for nothing.
I requested a refund and the Electric Radiators Direct took months before refunding my debit card despite having the unit back in their warehouse. A bad experience. Avoid.
