I have just ordered soil conditioner from this website for the third time. Whilst the website indicates it could take 5-10 working days for delivery, my goods arrived within 2 working days and I had a call beforehand to let me know when it would be arriving. The bags of soil conditioner are very heavy, but rather than leave at the kerbside (which many delivery companies do), the bags were carried into my garden so that we don't need to lift it. Not only that, I spent just over £30 and delivery was free. Another website tried to charge me £30 delivery for ordering exactly the same product. Although I have only ordered compost/soil conditioner products, I really cannot fault this company for quality of product, price and service. Would highly recommend.

Made a purchase online , bbq charcoal,huge levington compost bags, soil improver, all straight forward and easyordering, recieved a text a couple of days later telling delivery is the next day, my items arrived on time, all products arrived in tact, perfect services and all the products were the cheapest i've seen compared in the shops and online, can't beat them, added bonus Free delivery when I spent £30. jUST PLACED MY SECOND ORDER

Placed an order online: conditioning soil, levington manure and compost and BBQ bits (very good prices) received a call the evening before and order arrived as promised,

very impressive so I placed a 2nd order. All very good and arrived as described.

This company takes your money but doesn't deliver the goods. I don't know whether they are either blatantly dishonest or utterly useless. The promised ten day delivery time comes and goes, nothing arrives. Phone calls to the Customer Services team get you nowhere. Nobody has any idea where your order is or when or if it will ever be delivered. They say they will chase their depot. I don't believe there even is a depot. What a shambles - don't waste your money - this company is just taking the P. Don't let them take your money too!!!

Ordered product at what seemed a very competitive price; gota phone call to arrange delivery; took a day off work; received a phone call to tell me that (with a giggle) the depot had sent a truck that was too big so would need to rearrange. I asked how big the truck was and they said 18 tonne (I had indicated that you get a large bin wagon easily down the road); I told them that you could get a double bed 38 tonne wagon down the road so the 'depot' is lying; they also couldn't say when redelivery would be; requested a refund but that was a different department and it wad done by email; I am now waiting with baited breath for the refund to appear. Prices are keen but if you can't get the goods, what's the point...

This online garden product service, which is part of CPL the coal supply people, deliver orders of bagged compost, top soil, aggregates etc as well as garden furniture. They have a clear delivery statement on their website: 'Our standard delivery times are between 10-12 working days, unless otherwise stated. Some products may take as long as 28 days but, if this is the case, it will be specified on the product description. We provide free home delivery to 80% of UK mainland properties and you will be informed immediately if we are unable to deliver to your area. To keep you up to date at all times we will contact you if there are any anticipated delays and advise of an alternative delivery date.' Unfortunately the claims are untrue and they do not live up to them. I placed an order for compost and top soil, none of which indicated any delay in the product description. The 12 working days were up on Monday so I emailed and had a quick reply saying they would check with the depot. Since I heard nothing I 'phoned this morning (Friday)and was told that there is no delivery date indicated on their system and they would get on to the depot and get back to me. They never informed me of anticipated delays as they claim to do on the website.I get the impression that they place little importance on the delivery promise. I am really irritated because I really wanted to go with another company who honestly told me that there would be a 4 week delay to delivery and I decided I could not wait that long. At this rate I will face the same delay with Creative Garden Ideas but get my second choice products. I feel stuck now since I really need the product today and if I cancel I would have to wait another 4 weeks for an alternative supplier. I will never use them again. I can only be thankful that this was not a coal order with their parent CPL in the middle of winter.
