FAULTY PRODUCT - SHOCKINGLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE - AVOID Bought Christmas lights from them and they looked great, to begin with, they were nice and bright but after 2 days of being up, a big strip of lights failed. I reported to the supplier Cheaper Online LTD, that they were faulty, and they agreed on a return. They then emailed me to tell me they received the product, they tested them, and they were working fine so they will not be issuing a refund. What makes it even worse, they refused to return the product to me? Very questionable way of doing business. Judging by other reviews ONLINE this is not an isolated incident.

“HORRIBLE Company who charge you to return faulty items!”

I ordered a large light up canvas from this company through their Ebay store. It arrived pretty quickly but i was shocked at how poorly it was packaged. They wrapped it in clingfilm and stuck my address label to that, nothing else!! It was clear to see what the product was and the clingfilm offered no protection at all. The canvas was faulty and had lights that did not light up. When i informed the company of the fault I was told that if i wanted a refund I would have to pay for the return myself. Even though it is faulty i would still have to pay for it myself and they would not refund that return postage. I said i didn't think that it was right that a customer who receives a faulty item has to pay themselves to return it and i just kept on getting the same reply from a person who clearly couldn't care less and flatly told me over and over that they did not refund return postage on faulty items. After about 10 emails back and forth with her i gave up and told her to forget it. She then replied and sarcastically said she hoped that Ebay could resolve my issue. I have since purchased the canvas from another company who were fantastic. But i am now stuck with a faulty canvas in the spare room and am out of pocket for that one. Thanks Cheaper-Online!!! Yes, I was being sarcastic there! I have heard many people say that they suspect this company sell "Seconds". I can believe this. And i also suspect that some Positive reviews on other review sites are Fake! Surely it's not legal to make people pay to return faulty items? I wonder what Trading Standards or Martin Lewis would make of this company? Needless to say i would never shop with Cheaper-Online ever again. If you have had a bad experience with them please leave a review here and warn other potential customers. Companies like this that do not care about their customers need to be put out of business.

Do not deal with this company EVER! They send broken, damaged goods , badly packaged, they do not collect insisting you return them and pay for the cost ! Offer febel and weak excuses for their monumental imcompentence . I am taking them to the small claims court and will post an update .

I found this company to be rude and extremely unhelpful. They have no interest in keeping the customer happy. They do everything possible to avoid paying the return postage costs.

I ordered some Christmas lights as a gift for my Mother in Law. The goods arrived in a bashed, torn and damaged product box and singly posted in a plastic bag. Seller expects me to pay for the return postage. the people I dealt with  were very unhelpful and rude on the phone, questioning all my motives and needs and dismissing that it is unacceptable to be aent goods in such condition and then be expected to pay to return them when they had arrived as such. Made me very upset and angry because there was no acknowledgement or straightforward reaponsibility and very poor after sales service. Far better conpanies to use. Avoid this one as it your box arr Bes damaged, it will be in you and they expect YOU to pay to return or exchange it. Unbelievable!

“Rubbish product and poor customer care”

I bought a "Deluxe" "Premium" Wooden Bird Table. It was completely useless. The wood is the cheapest stuff, more like balsa wood. The screws were the poorest quality, many with no head. The screws were too short to screw the legs on. I complained but apart from inviting me to send the item back at my own expense, this company were not interested. A deeply frustrating experience and a waste of my money. Look at the web-site. Notice that nothing seems to have a review, yet it says they've been trading for years.

“Terrible quality and even worse customer service”

Ordered a storage box, it was delivered, box was damaged but sealed. Contents inside snapped and all cracked. Ordered this via amazon. Emailed amazon to return goods, and cheaper on line stated that I have to arrange to take it back to the post office and pay for a courier to send damaged goods back!!!! For a start the goods are damaged beyond repair and I am disabled and can not take a big heavy box to the post office... This has been going on for nearly a month.. Trading standards are now investigating... DO NOT touch this company with a barge pole!!!!

“Non received item”

Item not received after about 3 weeks now. Company sent me an email after two weeks asking if my item had been received . I replied to say it had not. they replied saying glad to hear that; hope you enjoy your item. I sent a rude reply back.
