Hi, I have advertised my properties through spain-holidays for almost 10 years now. I have also booked an apartment through them. They are perfectly fine to use but you are booking directly with the owner of the property not Spain Holidays. As with all these holiday letting sites, what you have to ensure is that you are actually dealing with the owner of the property. There has been problems where somebody takes control of the property owners e-mail account and intercepts emails without the property owners knowledge. They will then pretend to be the owner of the property and you could end up paying for a property that is not booked for you. The way that you make sure this doesn't happen is only look at properties with owner's phone number listed on the advert. Before you send any money, call the owner using the phone number on the spain-holiday advert and confirm that this is who you have been dealing with via e-mail. All should be fine then. Spain Holiday appear to work hard at making sure that their system is secure.
