Beware: No Refunds After 14 Days

I was refused a refund as it was outside of 14 day return policy. So don’t order several pairs to try. The fact is you need a few weeks to establish if the insole is successful. At which time you will not be able to get a refund on the unused pairs. There are lots of companies that offer you a longer return. I ordered 2 different pairs of insole to help a patient with acute tendinitis and will have to bear the cost as I can’t leave her out of pocket. I shan’t be using this company again.

I was refused a refund within 14 days for a wrong size hernia support because they said it was non returnable for hygiene reasons.

I'll never order from them again and I don't recommend anyone else to risk their money . This company doesn't care about customers at all.

Short Shipped - Then Called Me A Liar

Dreadful company to deal with. Customer service and after sales is shocking. We are a supplier to the NHS due to high volumes right now we needed to source extra from other suppliers. We ordered 3 items and only received 1 - that took over a week to get to me. Waited 1.5 hours to get through to someone on the phone before giving up and sending an e-mail. The reply the next day literally said- you've had you whole order we have checked! I sent photo of the order in the packaging with clearly no extra room. I was then told packaging was big enough to hold 3 times what it had!

I have spent 4 hours on the phone, 15 or so e-mails - I have been called a liar and received umpteen promises to get back to me. It is now 2 days later and no further.

Glovelies Original Gloves To Australia

Best domestic gloves I have ever had the fortune of purchasing. First bought these in the 1970's in Aust. and had to send to UK since early 1990's; not available is Oz anymore. Product is long lasting, can use for general and hard household cleaning, gardening, washing cars, all around terrific product. Service was efficient and arrived on ETA time. Congratulations please keep producing these.

Very Unhelpful Over Missing Order

Ordered a pair of thumb splints which were despatched, according to H&C, the following day. Ten days has passed and the splints have not arrived. I contacted H&C who advised that they need to wait for 14 working days (as close to 3 weeks as you can get) before they "will be able to look into it". Not 14 days until they send out replacements, but 14 days until they think how to tackle the missing order.

As has already been pointed out by other reviewers, most peple ordering from this company order items that will hopefully provide some pain relief or other comfort. Quite right that customers don't want to be in prolonged and unecessary pain or discomfort while H&C get their act together.

I contacted them again to ask if they would consider sending out replacements immediately and I could return the original order if/when it turned up. I'm not surprised that they never bothered to reply!

I have purchased splints today from a different supplier who have already sent me tracking details and I will be seeking a refund from Health and Care through Paypal. The news ones cost a couple of quid more but at least I can track the delivery and get some relief a lot sooner than waiting for H&C.

You really need to work on your customer service guys!!

Very Poor Practice !!!

I wholly concur with the previous review.

I ordered an ice face mask to improve recovery following facial surgery. Prompt application of cold helps to reduce swelling.

They took the order and payment - and 5 days on, after some checking, I am advised it was not in stock, it is still not in stock, and should be in by the end of the week - hence order cancelled.

Considering the nature of the product, it is very poor practice to sell this item and take payment without having it in stock. It displays no concern for the individual for whom it is intended - clearly the sale is more important.

Need Urgently... Beware!!

THINK! DO YOU REQUIRE YOUR ITEM/S URGENTLY?

Health and Care will take your order regardless if the item/s are in stock! 5 days after I did I was told late on Christmas Eve that my order would now be dispatched the New Year. Great Christmas present that turned out to be!

A week into the new year, I received another email stating were hoping to receive your order into our warehouse within the next 5 days! They also admitted they hoped to receive it before Christmas!, Then add another few days for it to get processed and delivered to my door.

I had complained after the first delay, stating it shouldn't take 5 days to send something out your warehouse, that email was ignored and now I know that they didn't have it to send anyway!!

My second email complaint was acknowledged as I threatened to cancel unless they could come up with a suitable response by the end of the day. They did respond at their close of business @ 5:28pm!

I was thinking a discount of sorts would make up for my trouble, they though a simple 'sorry' would do! Yeh right!...sorry our order system is in chaos, sorry you've had to wait nearly a month for your goods, sorry for not advertising that the item was currently unavailable when I ordered it and sorry your wife didn't get her Christmas present!... So not accepting their sorry, as I said talk is cheap, and with no offer of a discount as an apology, I cancelled.

My point was simple... had they informed me in the beginning the item was unavailable, then I would now have my item but from else where!

Borderline Dishonesty

I purchased a bed sensor over the telephone. The sales clerk was asked the specific question " can I return this item if it does not work?" We have a large house with two very thick walls in the way - overall distance is 30 meters, I was told it could do up to 100 meters "so you should be ok".It does not work.If I now had been told this item was non-returnable I would not have purchased it. It has not been used, the box has been opened to be tested only, so there are no hygiene issues.

I consider this to be bad practice. I would suggest that potential purchases should be made from alternative companies, and that Health and Care.co.uk train their staff to be a little more honest when asked a direct question.

Wow!

Placed an order at 5pm and it was delivered the following day as promised.

I'd bought two items to see which one I liked the best and the returns procedure was brilliant.

I've used these guys several times now and I'm seriously impressed- you just can't fault their service.

Disgusted!

I bought a bra from the website and as these things are hard to buy online I first checked their returns policy which stated as you would expect that some items can't be returned for hygiene reasons. It then listed examples such as toiletries and items which you would insert into the body. ..fair enough! It also mentioned that we understand some items are not suitable, wrong size etc and appeared that refunds or exchanges would be possible in such cases. I bought the bra and when it was received I saw from the pack it was not going to be the right size so contacted them to exchange it. I'm now told they won't for hygiene reasons!? It's a bra...you can try them on and exchange or return in any high st store. I did remove the item from the packet but I have not had to break a seal to do so. I would expect that if this item was non refundable it should have been listed in the returns policy or made clear on the order page as this is a very unusual policy for a bra. I'm now left having paid for something in good faith which is entirely useless to me. I am disgusted and feel completely conned by this company. I will make sure to post as many bad reviews as possible to warn others and tell all my friends not to use this website!
