“Not what I expected”

The arrangement I ordered was "as shown" but the one delivered was considerably smaller. I was advised by "Customer Service" that the photo I sent was what I ordered and that the description and photo was of the deluxe arrangement. The florist who made the delivery advised me that no delivery fee was forwarded to him; therefore, he needed to deduct his fee. Be careful!

“Wrong delivery date, wrong flowers, right person/message?”

Terrible. They substituted flowers in the arrangement even though I had specified in their checkbox that they do not. The flowers that were substituted were of lower grade and the blossomed lillies that were the focal point clearly had bruising on the petals. They delivered the flowers over a week early which didn't correlate to the occasion they were suppose to be a surprise for. Their phone system was frustrating in trying to get to even talk to a person without getting hung up on before reaching a human. If you ask for a refund even under all these circumstances, they will say in order for you to get a refund they will have to go to the person they delivered the flowers to and pick them up! Unbelievable. Terrible customer service for an order they incorrectly filled and dishonest about the picture and actual flowers delivered.

“Don't believe the picture. Don't believe the descirption.”

I purchased a rose/lilie arrangement for my wife for Valentines Day. A Holiday that is especially lonely for her because I work in Afghanistan. Luckily this year I was on leave for the Holiday. Like other customers I had no problem paying the premium do to the time of year. The description and picture showed a beautiful arragement that consisted of at least a dozen roses and lilies scattered throughout. What we recieved was exactly 6 roses, 6 TULIPS, and 3 white flowers that my wife knew the name of and verbally stated "cheap" in their description. The rest was fake berries and filler plants in a cheap red plastic vase. At a total cost of 102$ I naturally complained. I filed the complaint on the 16th after she recieved the flowers and talked to me about them. They responded on the 18th asking me to call them. I called on the 19th and they offered me a refund or a new delivery. I asked for the refund and they said they would be picking up the flowers later in the week. On the 21st they send me an email telling me that they can only give me a 15% refund because to much time has elapsed. When you take a week to give someone the run around time passes. I will NEVER do business with these poeple again. The online flower industry is very competitive, and treating your customers like marks is unacceptable and in many facets criminal. Under no circumstances should you give these people your money. Use Wal-Mart instead or hand pick your love some dandilions on the side of the highway. The only reason they get one star is because I can't use fractions on this review site.

“Asked for more money after I've already paid.”

I placed 2 orders for delivery to San Francisco last week for today, Valentine's Day. They are for 2 very very dear friends of mine. I recieved a phone call late last night from Flowershopping.com that they cannot deliver my orders unless I add more money. I've already paid online when I placed the order last week. They charged me a premium becuase it's Valentine's Day, which I had no problems with. But asking me for more money otherwise they will not deliver?????? I will never ever do business with these people again! Not only were they not apologetic about the situation, they had the nerve to give me, the consumer, an attitude. They said it's going to be a very busy day and they dont have anymore flowers unless I add $22 more for each order. What kind of business is this? What kind of customer service is this? They called me, not 2 days before, not 3 days before, but the night before the delivery date. This is unbelievable.

I wanted to buy a few flowers for my girlfriend for valentines day I go to school in Montana and she goes to school in state in Connecticut so to that I had to order online. I looked for sellers that used papal and found some arrangements for a reasonable price on Ava's Flowers after purchasing I realized I had accidentally switched the billing and delivery address it took about 2 min of trying to modify my order and contact the seller to realize it was a scam. The website, reviews, contact information, blog, facebook page ,etc.. was all one large charade I'm glad I've been able to catch it so early I still might yet prevent the payment from going through my bank since contact with the company and a refund are as I have read from other peoples experience impossible. In Short Don't Buy !!!!

“They are order gatherers”

they are what you call order gatherers. they are not a real florist. it is a phone bank that gathers the orders, takes $ off the top of your order and sells things that they dont even know what it is or if it is available. they are not in the town that they claim to be in. when you are online looking for a florist, call them , ask the person that answers the phone for their address. if they do not supply you with an address, you probably called an order gatherer.

“Beware! Use florist REAL local phone #/website”

Sadly this is the case with several companies claiming to be the local florist online, even if you call and ask they will tell you they are.. Being a florist for a small local shop, we see this happen all the time and it makes us look bad since we fill the orders to the value that we recieve the orders for. These companies don't think of the cost of the flowers, delivery expense, and labor that has to be included somewhere in the price, they just look to make a quick buck and then rip the customer, and florist, off. We constantly have to contact these companies on orders advertised for $19.99 on sale on their site with no delivery charge and then the arrangement has roses and Lillie's in it, about how they'd expect us to do something "decent" for that price? We recieved a complaint one time on an order that was placed by a woman online thinking it was from us, turns out they took her money and sent the order to a shop in another city nearbyso we contacted the company claiming to be us and they went on to say they were us and were working for our owner and they were very rude when we busted them. Based on my little paragraph of a rant you can tell this is a growing issue with not just my shop but other local independently owned florist and must be made aware to other people.

“Worst flower service on Earth”

Ordered at 12:30, before the 3:30 cut off for same day delivery. When we called at 5:30 for a status update the representative was rude and said they would call when it shipped. At 7:30 we got an email saying that they didn't ship it. So much for 100% satisfaction, but that's not all. At 9:00 the next morning we have a call saying we need to call to set up a delivery. I called at 11:00 and the same representative said they called us yesterday at 5:30 (we called them), but that the phone number was wrong (so evidently they didn't call us, even though she read off the correct number). The representative kept talking over me trying to tell me that it was somehow our fault. Manager was just as bad. I will never use this service again.

This is not a local florist in the area you are sending flowers to. They are a collections service. They charge you big bucks they farm out your order to real local florist and give them half of what you paid. They are not a florist know nothing about flowers or the area your sending them to. They are in basements and warehouses NOT in a florist. Do not waste your time or money on people that do not care about your order.

“Never received flowers”

Yesterday was my niece 1 year anniversary of the death of her daughter and I just wanted to send her a pick me upper...I ordered it @ 11:00 am and @ 6:45 it was not delivered I call several times yesterday checking and all the could tell me it was on the truck...When I called @ 6:45 checking on it some said they would checked the deliveries and call me back but never did...So today I call and go off and all they tell me is we can deliver it today and take off the delivery charge...Bump today I needed it yesterday...I can't get yesterday back...So disappointed!!!!!

“Not a real florist just a call house”

This place pretends to be a local florist, it is actually a wharehouse somewhere with non florist personell answering the phones. You are then charged a large fee for them to redirect your order to a florist in the area you are needing them in. It is a scam, use a local florist. Too bad I was forced to give it one star, it doesn't even deserve that.

No location in Indianapolis. Just a middle-man. Gather's orders online acting like a family-owned company, takes a cut,and sends it to a local florist to fill for less money. Does not make sense. Seems to me like false advertising.

I needed to send send flowers to my mom for her Birthday and I found the Be Happy Bouquet on FlowerShopping.com...I compared the price to other sites and FlowerShopping.com had the best prices around. After I entered my order, I realized that I had entered the wrong delivery address so I Called FlowerShopping.com and the girl that answered the phone was so helpful and nice. She corrected the delivery address on my order and sure enough, 3 hours later the flowers arrived at my mom's house. My mom called me and couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the flowers were, she took a picture and sent it to me and the flowers were even better than the ones in the picture - so beautiful! Thank you FlowerShopping.com, you have a customer for life.

DO NOT order flowers from this company! I made a horrible mistake and trusted them to deliver flowers to my wife on our anniversary. The order was placed at 10:00 am Central Time, plenty of time for a delivery. My wife was at a training center 1,400 miles away and I want to make sure she received the flowers when she returned to her hotel room. I checked with the hotel at 5:00 pm central and the flowers were never delivered. I called Flowersshopping.com (good luck on getting someone to answer!) at 5:15. The person apologized and said they would contact the florist in the area and call me back. They never did. I called again at 5:40 Central Time and made sure I stayed on the line while they checked. She assured me the flowers would be delivered that evening and never were. THEY NEVER WERE! (What a surprise....NOT) I just wished I had checked reviews before ordering because I would have seen all the other negative reviews.

I agree. After ordering flowers on a Thursday after 3:30pm the site delivery would take place on Friday. I got a phone call late on Frdiay that it couldn't be done and if I would be okay with a Saturday delivery. I agreed as I was given an upgrade. Saturday came and I got another phone call that the sympathy arrangement couldn't be delivered until Monday due to flower shops closing at noon and they were busy with weddings and there was a parade in town. Really??? I cancelled the order and was able to contact a local florist who was more than happy to deliver on Saturday before 5pm.
